Chapter 35 - Untill Tomorrow Breaks Us

CTS TIME RE250.08.27 | 8:55 PM

Gaming Zone – Diamond Space Hub

The holographic battlefield flickered with bursts of vibrant light as Dante and Bolt fiercely battled against simulated bladers. The gaming section in Diamond Space Hub was packed, with crowds cheering and shouting as holographic weapons clashed.

"Come on, Bolt! Just one more hit!" Dante grinned, his hands moving rapidly over the holographic controls.

Bolt laughed, his concentration sharp. "I'm not losing, old man!"

Their avatars collided one last time — and Bolt claimed victory. Dante groaned, but he couldn't help but smile. In moments like these, their burdens seemed lighter, even if just for a short while.

Neo Rooftop – Hyperion Royal Starship

High above the Diamond Space Hub, the royal Hyperion starship hovered like a fortress. Inside the dining hall, Mainak quietly ate dinner with his father. But Anik stood apart, his gaze fixed out the transparent window, staring into the vast galaxy.

The stars shimmered endlessly — a reminder of how small their lives were in the grand scale of the multiverse. Yet Anik's heart held a fire, burning relentlessly with one promise:

"I will become the Ruler of the Multiverse."

His mind drifted toward his family — the faces of his father, his mother, and his sister. And then, an image of Rose flooded his thoughts. His chest tightened painfully. I will make a place where no one has to lose their loved ones again.

And with that silent vow — Anik stared into the abyss of space, clutching his fate tightly.

The garden was alive with gentle movement — travelers from different galaxies, couples walking hand in hand, and shimmering spacecraft descending from distant universes just to witness tomorrow's Grand Finals.

Under one of the tallest luminous red trees, Blaze and Serena sat side by side on a stone bench. The glow of the crimson tree softly illuminated their faces, casting a gentle warmth over them.

Serena rested her head on Blaze's shoulder, her heart swelling with pure contentment. Her body still tingled from the intimate moments they shared earlier — moments she would remember for a lifetime.

A mischievous smile crept on her lips. "So… today you took my virginity," she teased, her voice like silk.

Blaze immediately tensed, his face flushing deep red. "W-what? You started! Not me! If anything, you took mine!"

Serena laughed, leaning closer. "Awww… is my champion still shy after everything we did?"

Blaze covered his face with his hands. "Can we not talk about it?"

Serena's smile softened, but her voice turned warmer. "You know why I love you very much?"

Blaze turned toward her, surprised by the shift in tone. "…Why?"

Serena met his gaze, her crimson eyes shining like rubies. "Because every time I was in front of you… exposed or not… you never looked at my body. You always looked me in the eyes. Like my body didn't matter to you. Only my soul did."

Blaze froze. His heart tightened painfully in his chest. "…I told you before. I love your eyes."

Serena smiled gently. "But why? Why my eyes?"

Blaze swallowed hard, his voice almost trembling from emotion. "…Because your eyes feel like home."

Serena's heart skipped a beat. "…Home?"

Blaze turned fully toward her now. His eyes were glassy, his voice thick with vulnerability. "Every time I look into your eyes… I feel like I'm alive. Like I'm not alone anymore. Like the universe makes sense again. And when you smile…" his voice cracked, "…it feels like heaven."

Serena's throat tightened. She could feel the weight of his love pouring out. "…Blaze…"

Blaze's hand trembled as he cupped her cheek. "I've spent my whole life surrounded by darkness, loss, and emptiness. But when I see your crimson eyes… it's like my soul comes back to life. I feel warmth. I feel peace. I feel love. I swear to you — if I could dive into your eyes forever, I would."

Tears brimmed in Serena's eyes. "…You really love me that much?"

Blaze's voice cracked, his chest tightening painfully. "I do. I love you so much it scares me sometimes."

Serena exhaled shakily, wrapping her arms around him. "Then love me. Love me without fear. Love me like you have nothing to lose."

Blaze buried his face into her neck, his voice breaking. "…I already do."

A brief silence filled the air before Serena whispered again. "Then make me yours. Color me with your love. You're already in my blood… so make me your everything."

And without hesitation — Blaze pulled her into a kiss that burned with desperate love. Their lips moved slowly, tasting each other like it was the last time. Serena's fingers clenched Blaze's jacket tightly, never wanting to let go.

But somewhere deep within Blaze's heart… a shadow stirred.

A voice whispered.

"You don't deserve her."

"She'll leave you when she finds out who you really are."

Blaze shut his eyes tighter — silencing the voice. Not tonight. Let me have this moment.

A few benches away, Talon and Rose sat quietly. Talon watched Blaze and Serena with a deep, unreadable expression.

"…That's real love," Talon finally spoke. "No lust. No hunger. Just pure love — where you'd destroy yourself just to see them smile."

Rose, who was watching Blaze and Serena as well, felt a sting in her heart. Her mind drifted to Anik — the boy who promised to protect her, to save the multiverse, to never leave her behind.

"…Yeah," Rose whispered softly. "I think I understand what true love feels like."

Talon shifted slightly. "Love is sacrifice. It's when you're willing to lose everything — even yourself — just to keep them safe."

Rose's throat tightened. "…Do you think that's what Blaze feels for Serena?"

Talon exhaled. "…Yes. But love like that is dangerous."

Rose frowned. "Why?"

Talon's voice turned colder. "…Because when love like that breaks… it doesn't just hurt. It destroys you."

The metallic pathways of the Diamond Space Hub reflected the ambient glow of the artificial night. Blaze walked silently beside Serena, his body still warm from the garden moment earlier. His mind was solely focused on tomorrow's Grand Finals.

"I'll win. I'll protect everything. I'll keep Serena safe."

Serena, however, walked beside him — her hand tightly gripping his. But deep in her chest, a suffocating dread began to bloom. She didn't understand it — but something about tonight felt wrong. Her heartbeat quickened unnaturally.

"Why does it feel like… this is my last night with him?"

As they reached the door of Serena's quarters, Blaze turned to her, smiling softly. "Get some sleep. Tomorrow's a big day."

Serena's throat tightened. "…Won't you stay?"

Blaze blinked. "I should check if Bolt and Rose are asleep first. Then I'll come."

Serena bit her lip hard, fighting back tears she didn't understand. "…Okay. Don't take long."

Blaze quietly entered Serena's room after ensuring Bolt and Rose were asleep. The automated door slid closed behind him with a soft mechanical hiss. Serena was already waiting — sitting on the edge of the bed, wearing nothing but a sheer nightgown.

Her crimson eyes locked with his. "…You came."

Blaze smiled, kicking off his shoes. "I promised."

As he lay on the bed beside her, Serena shifted on top of him, her face now inches from his. "Can you… love me more?"

Blaze blinked. "Serena, we already—"

Serena's voice cracked. "I don't care. I need more. I don't know why, but I feel like I'll lose you tomorrow."

Blaze froze. "…Lose me? What are you talking about?"

"I don't know," Serena's voice shook. "…Just love me. Again."

Blaze hesitated, but when he saw the silent desperation in her eyes — he couldn't refuse. Their lips met. Slow. Deep. His hands slid under her nightgown, feeling the softness of her skin. Serena's grip on his hair tightened as she slowly lowered herself onto him.

The first round was slow and delicate. Blaze was careful, not wanting to hurt her, but Serena kept whispering, "More. Don't stop."

Her hips moved with deliberate slowness, but the depth of her need was evident. Blaze kissed her neck, whispering, "Why are you trembling?"

"…I don't know." Her voice cracked. "…I just feel like I need more of you. Like my body's crying for you."

By the third round, their bodies were drenched in sweat. Serena was breathless, her fingers digging into Blaze's back, but her eyes were still empty. Something was wrong.

Round 4 to 6 (The Shift from Love to Desperation)

"Serena… you're shaking," Blaze panted as he tried to slow down.

"Don't stop," she begged. "Don't you dare stop."

Blaze's heart hammered. Her nails were now clawing his back, enough to draw faint streaks of blood. Every time he tried to slow down, Serena would grip him harder and force him back in.

"More," she gasped. "Harder. Until I break."

"Serena… you're scaring me." Blaze's voice cracked.

"Then break me," she cried. "Make me yours until there's nothing left of me."

Blaze didn't understand. Tears burned behind her eyes, but Serena kept forcing him deeper, harder, and more desperate. Round after round — Serena didn't stop. Her voice cracked from pleasure-turned-pain.

The sheets were now soaked — her fluids, sweat, and faint blood from Blaze's back.

"Serena," Blaze choked. "We should stop. You're hurting yourself."

Serena sobbed. "No. More. More until I can't walk. Until my body forgets pain. Until you're inside me forever."

Blaze's entire body trembled. Something was wrong. Why was she like this tonight?

Round 7 to 9 (Where Love Turns Into Pain)

By now, Blaze's body was nearing collapse. His muscles burned from exertion. Serena's body trembled violently, but she didn't stop. Every time he pulled away, she clawed him back in.

"Serena—enough, please," Blaze gasped, his vision spinning. "You'll break."

"I don't care!" she sobbed. "I'll never get enough of you. Just keep going. Please."

Her voice cracked into desperate sobs as her body clenched around him. Blood mixed with fluids now soaked the sheets, but Serena's heart wouldn't relent.

"Why does it feel like this is the last time?"

"Why does my heart keep crying?"

Her voice broke. "Blaze—please don't leave me tomorrow."

Blaze froze mid-thrust. "…What?"

Serena sobbed, clutching his face. "I don't know why I'm saying this. I just… I feel like you'll be gone tomorrow. So break me now. Ruin me now. Leave me your love."

Blaze's throat burned. "…I'm not leaving you."

"Promise me," she choked. "Promise you'll never leave me."

Blaze stared into her broken crimson eyes — and he couldn't hold back. He kissed her deeply and whispered: "…I swear I'll never leave you."

And they continued.

Round 10 to 12 (Where Love Becomes Destruction)

By round ten — Blaze was physically destroyed. His body convulsed from overexertion. But Serena still wasn't satisfied. Her fingers dug into his back hard enough to draw bleeding scratches.

"Serena, you're gonna kill yourself," Blaze gasped, his body convulsing.

"I don't care!" Serena sobbed, her throat raw from screaming. "Just keep going until I break. Please."

Her inner walls convulsed again, sending her into another mind-breaking climax. Her nails tore into Blaze's shoulders, her body thrashing — but her heart still begged for more.

Her sobs turned into painful screams. Blaze could feel her body breaking, but she refused to stop.

And after the twelfth round — Blaze collapsed. His muscles refused to move. Serena lay underneath him, her body convulsing, covered in sweat, blood, and exhaustion.

"…I love you," she whimpered through her broken voice.

"…I love you too." Blaze barely whispered. His body was broken beyond exhaustion.

Blaze held Serena's trembling body. Both of them were physically broken. Serena's body was heavily bruised, and Blaze's back was torn from her nails.

"…You… okay?" Blaze rasped.

Serena barely responded. "…Don't leave me tomorrow. Promise me."

"…I promise," Blaze whispered.

"Even if you lose?"

"…I won't lose." Blaze forced a smile.

Serena's tears wouldn't stop. "…Even if you lose, just… come back to me. Even if you break, I'll fix you."

Blaze choked. "…I swear on my life, I'll never leave you."

Both finally passed out from exhaustion. The sheets were soaked in sweat, blood, and Serena's fluids. Blaze's body was destroyed, and Serena lay semi-broken, still clinging to him in sleep.

But across the room — on the metallic table — Blaze's sword Venom Devolos began to glow faintly. A dark, venomous voice whispered:

"Your fate was sealed the moment you lifted me, Blaze."

"Tomorrow… you will lose. Tomorrow… she will break."

Blaze didn't hear it. He was asleep.

But Devolos already knew — tomorrow's final would break Blaze's entire destiny.
