chapter 47—"Unveiling the Truth
The majestic man began explaining what had happened since unknown appeared at the meeting point and sent out the beams.
A silence fell over the hall, then the female apparition named Emilia broke it and said:
"So, according to what you said, it seems that this person made a move? And that move… is you, but younger?"
Emilia's voice shifted to doubt, and she asked with astonishment:
"I don't mean anything, but – as far as we know about that person – you're not even qualified to know who he is, let alone know about a special move of his?"
The majestic man looked at her and sighed:
"Do you remember what I told you before about that man? What I discovered about him?"
The twenty-one people began recalling something from the past…
In a place filled with chaos and destruction,
there were twenty-two people facing creatures of all shapes.
One of them released a beam from his palm, which caused a massive explosion, killing countless creatures. But it was futile, as more creatures appeared to replace those destroyed.
Similar scenes were happening in other parts of that place, but in different ways.
After an unknown amount of time,
a person resembling unknown stood there—but without a left arm and without eyes, holding a picture.
unknown looked at the picture, and even without eyes, he somehow could see it.
Tears began streaming from the hollows of his eyes.
The remaining twenty-one watched him anxiously.
They exchanged glances, and one whispered:
"I didn't know he had a side like that too."
Some frowned, while others tried to comfort unknown.
After a long while, he wiped his tears and looked at them with a hoarse voice:
"Sorry for what you've seen from me."
They tried to console him and make him laugh.
When unknown looked at them, he felt a sensation he had missed dearly.
Then he seemed to make up his mind about something, and determination appeared in his eyes, as he silently swore an oath in his heart.
He said, looking at them:
"I know who that person is."
Upon hearing that, seriousness appeared on their faces.
One of them asked:
"Who is he?"
A complex expression appeared on unknown face as he said:
"I am."
After they finished imagining that scene,
they all sighed without exception.
Emilia said:
"We were so weak that we didn't realize how significant this was."
The red-haired person replied:
"When I remember that time… well, that little secret we still don't know the solution to."
A look of nostalgia appeared on their faces.
But Emilia interrupted them, asking the majestic man:
"Alright, what's the connection between these two things?"
The majestic man smiled and said:
"Come see young unknown, and you'll understand why I said that."
