Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Blood in the Silenc

Chapter 6: Blood in the Silence

The grand floating hall, where minutes earlier laughter, music, and elegant conversations echoed, was now wrapped in absolute silence.

The guests trembled, many frozen in fear. Some drones had completely shut down.

Only the echo of invisible footsteps moved through the air.

Then, a figure stirred.

---

1. Tessa takes the lead

Tessa stepped forward.

Her chakra flared with a dense pulse. Her one-tomoe Sharingan glowed like a red ember.

—There you are… —she murmured, jaw tight.

And without hesitation, she lunged at the invisible creature.

Though she couldn't see it clearly, her eye could detect the slight distortions, the way the air trembled around the enemy.

She activated a reinforcement technique, coating her fist in chakra, and struck directly at the demon's face.

A sharp sound boomed across the hall. The demon staggered back.

Surprised.

Humiliated.

It tried to turn away, leap into a shadow, and vanish.

But then, a slicing line tore through the air.

Slash!

One of its legs was severed cleanly.

The demon crashed heavily to the ground, writhing in pain.

It raised its head and saw him.

---

2. Adam enters the scene

Leaning against a column, with black glasses on and his Sharingan faintly active, Adam smiled with mocking calm.

—Leaving already? But the party just started.

His finger still glowed with cursed energy. The demon's wound crackled, unable to regenerate immediately due to the purity of the cut.

—That hurt your pride more, didn't it? —he added.

Before the demon could react, another strike, this time to its abdomen, hurled it into a glass table. Everything shattered to pieces.

The executives screamed. Some tried to flee.

But no one could escape the hall yet.

---

The demon's brutality

The demon had no intention of stopping.

Wounded, humiliated, with one leg still regenerating from Adam's slash, it charged like a rabid beast at Tessa.

She tried to get up but hadn't yet recovered from the previous blow.

Then, a shadow tore through the air.

With a savage roar, the demon spun, launching a spinning kick straight at Tessa's head.

CRACK!

The impact was brutal. Her body spun uncontrollably through the air.

But it didn't end there.

The demon, with inhuman precision, grabbed her leg mid-flight before she could escape by inertia… and screamed:

—DIIIIE!!

With a roar of fury, it smashed her into the ground with such force that the marble floor shattered like paper.

A cloud of dust and fragments exploded in every direction.

The crack spread like an open wound across the hall.

—TESSA! —Adam roared.

But the demon didn't stop.

It spun and, with animal force, launched itself straight at Adam like a living spear, filled with rage and blood.

---

Just before it could reach him, a barrier of invisible slashes intercepted it.

Adam had reacted.

His left eye blazed intensely. The one-tomoe Sharingan spun slowly but steadily.

—Cleave. —he pronounced coldly.

A series of precise cuts crossed the air like invisible blades.

The demon was stopped mid-charge, its body carved by multiple cursed lines.

Chunks of flesh fell to the floor. Black blood splattered across the marble.

It growled. For the first time, it retreated.

Adam gave it no respite.

—Fuva. —he said, extending his hand, fingers steady.

A cursed fire arrow shot from his palm. Not fully charged, but enough.

The arrow hissed through the air like a promise of destruction.

BOOM!

The explosion was instant.

Fire and pressure burst from the impact point, tearing apart the floor and sending shockwaves that shattered the hall's windows, even those untouched directly by the blast.

Smoke filled the space.

Glass. Wood. Metal. Everything was blanketed in a dense grayish-red cloud.

---

J takes control of the evacuation

Meanwhile, in the shadows, J moved with surgical efficiency.

—Priority: full evacuation.

—Risk: extreme level.

—Objective: protect civilians.

Without blinking, he pulled guests out one by one, breaking doors, opening escape routes, blocking collapsed paths.

Chaos had begun, but J faced it as if he had already seen it before.

---

Adam among fire and smoke

Through the burning haze, Adam walked slowly, panting.

His body ached, but his mind stayed sharp.

His Sharingan still active. Cursed energy crackling on his fingers.

And then he saw her.

Tessa.

Her body coated in dust, blood on her forehead, but alive.

She was moving. Slowly, but with resolve.

Adam ran to her.

—Tessa… —he whispered.

She opened her eyes with effort.

—I thought… you'd take longer.

He smiled faintly, with that sarcastic tone he only used when truly relieved.

—I took my time. But worth it, right?
