The Road Trip and Lin Mei's Warning
Han Yu and Lin Mei traveled on a stolen (but beautifully enchanted) flying skiff, using Han Yu's Nine Heavens Soaring technique for propulsion. Lin Mei was miserable, armed with a ridiculous checklist from Elder Zhang:
1. No Flirting.
2. No Void Rifts.
3. Monitor Piglet Rescue Fund.
"We are going to the Azure Blossom Sect for diplomacy," Lin Mei stressed, clutching the scroll. "They are known for their subtlety and peace. You need to be quiet, serious, and boring for two days, Han Yu. Can you do that?"
Han Yu lounged on the skiff, eating grapes. "Boring? My dear Lin Mei, a diplomatic mission is just a highly structured form of flirting. It's about winning trust, charming the opposition, and assessing the romantic potential of their top disciples. Besides, Jin-Jin insists I must accelerate the Love War outside the sect's walls."
Jin-Jin, the Matchmaker Spirit, floated nearby. "Excellent point! The Blossom Sect Matriarch has two beautiful twin nieces! A potential for simultaneous diamond harvest!"
"You are going to ruin the peace talks," Lin Mei predicted darkly.
The Peace Talks and the First Disruption
The Azure Blossom Sect grounds were stunning, filled with shimmering pink blossoms and serene ponds. The air smelled of sweet perfume and meditation incense.
The peace talks were being held in a grand pavilion between the Blossom Sect and a visiting rival, the Iron Heart Clan, who were stern, bulky cultivators known for their directness and lack of patience.
Han Yu was supposed to be observing silently, but the Intrigue was too dry. The Matriarch of the Blossom Sect, a gentle woman named Liu, was struggling to reach an agreement with the Iron Heart Clan's Elder, a heavily armored man named Xiong.
Elder Xiong glared across the table. "The border dispute is non-negotiable! Give us the western mine, or there is no peace!"
Han Yu, bored, decided to help. He focused his Heavenly Insight Eye on Elder Xiong. He immediately saw the man's deep-seated anxiety: a fear of failure and a craving for sweet pastries.
Han Yu leaned forward, flashing his most sincere, charming smile. "Elder Xiong," he interrupted smoothly, completely disregarding diplomatic protocol. "Forgive my intrusion, but I sense that you are dealing with profound internal imbalance. Your Qi flow seems… constricted by stress. Perhaps the best solution is not iron or land, but something... sweeter."
Elder Xiong blinked, stunned by the direct, handsome stranger. "What nonsense is this?"
Han Yu instantly activated the Divine Alchemy Hand, creating a small, perfect 'Tranquility Pill' that tasted exactly like honey and spiced plums. He casually tossed it across the table.
"A gift," Han Yu announced. "Take this, and you'll find that the true value of the western mine is merely a misunderstanding."
Elder Xiong, driven by his unseen craving, caught the pill and swallowed it reflexively.
The pill was harmless, but the psychological effect was immediate. Xiong's tense shoulders slumped, and a dreamy expression crossed his face.
"A misunderstanding," Elder Xiong repeated softly, looking at the Matriarch. "Yes. Perhaps the border dispute is a misunderstanding. It's so stressful."
The Matriarch stared at Han Yu, appalled but secretly pleased. Lin Mei slammed her face into her palm.
Accidental Rivalry and the Thunder God's Wrath
The peace talks immediately broke down into confusion. Elder Xiong was too tranquil to negotiate, and the Matriarch was too suspicious of Han Yu's sudden, magical interference.
Before the confusion could settle, a young, promising Blossom Sect disciple, Mei Hua (one of the Matriarch's nieces), approached Han Yu. She was furious.
"You! You're Han Yu! You charm-wielding fiend!" she accused. "Elder Xiong was about to concede the eastern forest! You ruined our leverage with that ridiculous pill!"
She raised her hand, preparing a low-level attack. Just then, a rival young warrior from the Iron Heart Clan, Hu Lei, stepped in front of her.
"Step aside, Blossom girl!" Hu Lei roared. "I saw Han Yu's power! He uses a pill to defeat a warrior, not an honorable sword! I challenge him, not you!"
Chaos erupted. Mei Hua wanted to hit Han Yu; Hu Lei wanted to challenge him.
Han Yu sighed dramatically. He needed to stop the fight instantly and with a flourish that reaffirmed his strength and his innocence.
He channeled his Dao Celestial Soul energy, aiming high, far above the pavilion. He used the Thunder God's Wrath, but instead of a spear, he shaped the lightning into a spectacular, harmless heart-shaped firework that exploded above the pavilion with a dazzling, non-lethal flash.
The sudden, beautiful celestial phenomenon froze everyone—even the angry disciples—in their tracks.
Han Yu smiled innocently. "My apologies! My Superpower often reacts poorly to aggressive spiritual energy. It appears my inner spirit wanted to express the deep affection I have for all parties involved."
The Escalated Consequences
Mei Hua and Hu Lei were stunned. They looked at the handsome prodigy who was so powerful he accidentally created celestial fireworks when challenged.
Mei Hua's fury instantly melted into conflicted awe. "He expresses affection with heavenly lightning... he must be truly devoted to peace," she thought. Han Yu had just scored a major, unintended Love Crystal Diamond point.
Hu Lei, the Iron Heart warrior, saw the powerful, chaotic display and misinterpreted it entirely. "He is challenging me with his ultimate technique! He respects me!" Hu Lei's rivalry instantly solidified into a fierce, admiring focus.
Elder Xiong, still under the spell of the pill, giggled and offered the Matriarch a small, carved wooden flower.
The Matriarch Liu threw her hands up in defeat. "The peace talks are concluded! Han Yu, your presence here has caused more havoc than a rogue Demon King! Leave! Now! And take your lightning and your innocent charm with you!"
Han Yu, satisfied with the chaos and his accidental romantic conquests, bowed. "It was an honor to assist with your diplomatic endeavors!"
He quickly pulled Lin Mei back onto the skiff and zoomed away.
Lin Mei was hyperventilating. "We were there for three hours! You ruined the talks, created two new admirers, and almost got us killed with a love firework! This entire trip is a disaster!"
Han Yu grinned, already checking his internal status. His Cultivation had slightly advanced from the unexpected Love Crystal Diamond surge.
"Disaster? My dear, this is a triumph," Han Yu corrected. "It seems my path to world conquest requires me to accidentally create beauty, ruin politics, and occasionally fight a piglet."
He checked Jin-Jin's scroll. The next trial was already there, no doubt stemming from the unresolved chaos he just caused. The Adventure continued.
