Murrue Ramius, rank: Earth Alliance Lieutenant. She was also the Archangel's Vice-Captain, meaning that on the Archangel battleship, she was second in command only to the Captain. However, at this moment, she had no idea what was happening in the Archangel's factory underground, because the convoy that had left earlier had also encountered an explosion, and two GINN units had appeared, constantly eliminating their escort convoy.

From his high vantage point, Mikazuki clearly saw that the three new Earth Alliance mobile suits had been seized by several individuals wearing red pilot suits.

"Mikazuki, how do those mobile suits feel?"

"Not great."

"You..." Mikazuki put his hands in his pockets.

"It's true. I can't pilot any of these mobile suits; they're different from Barbatos." After hearing Mikazuki's explanation, Orga understood. "Right, the mobile suits in this world can't be piloted by us at all. Their core isn't an Ahab Reactor, and they're not equipped with the Alaya-Vijnana System. If old man (Commander) or the Turbines' engineers were here, they might be able to figure something out, but now... It's a shame..."

Orga seemed to be sighing regretfully. Mikazuki then interjected indifferently, "Besides, I only pilot Barbatos..."

Orga paused, then forced a bitter smile. "Honestly... Barbatos really is your wife, isn't it?"

Mikazuki ignored his joke, lifted his wrist, and checked Barbatos' current location on his watch. It was still three zones away.

"There should be two more mobile suits inside. Should we save them?"

"Orb is a so-called neutral nation, right? Why are they helping the Earth Alliance develop mobile suits? It's baffling." Orga didn't answer Mikazuki's question but instead rambled on. Mikazuki blinked. "So, you mean we should save them?"

Orga said with certainty, "Save them. Anyway, to get back, we can only rely on the shuttle. This is a good opportunity to see how much energy we can accumulate through combat."

"Good." Saying this, Mikazuki took off his coat and draped it over his shoulder, wearing only a thin army-green undershirt.

Inside the factory, Murrue Ramius and her subordinates were resisting the charging ZAFT special forces. The enemy was clearly prepared, and with most of their security forces already dispatched, they were at a distinct disadvantage. However, thankfully, no Mobile Suits had charged in yet. Otherwise, with their flesh and blood bodies, a single beam from a GINN would wipe them out.

Murrue, who was lying prone on one of the Gundams, watched her colleagues fall one by one and heard the sounds of Mobile Suits outside. She quickly deduced the current situation. "Damn it, have three Gundams already been taken?" Only two Gundams remained in the factory that hadn't been seized. She had only a dozen people left. As for the ZAFT forces attempting to seize the Gundams... the current battle situation spoke for itself.

"Father, you liar!" Murrue instinctively turned and fired a few shots in the direction of the voice. She was stunned when she clearly saw the other person's appearance. "A child?" Two young people were running down a corridor along the wall, searching for an escape route.

Murrue had no time to deal with them. The enemy was already closing in on the Gundams. At this moment, she was engaging the ZAFT special forces while simultaneously thinking of a countermeasure. The battle entered a brief stalemate. Just then, one of the two children she had seen earlier, a brown-haired youth, returned to the factory.

"Hey, hurry back! It's dangerous here!"

"The shelter here is full! I need to go to the shelter on the left!" If Mikazuki were here at this moment and saw that young man, he would definitely recognize him: Kira Yamato, whom he had parted ways with just a few hours ago. Murrue heard this and urgently warned, "There's only one door left there. If you poke your head out, you'll be riddled with holes!"

Murrue had just finished speaking when the passage behind Kira on his left exploded. Murrue shouted, "Quick, come over here!" Kira quickly jumped down, landing on the Gundam beneath Murrue's feet.

On the ZAFT side, the young, red-clad Athrun Zala, son of PLANT's Twelve Chairman Patrick Zala, saw one of his comrades killed by the Earth Alliance forces, causing their firepower to shift. Though Athrun felt grief, he seized the momentary opening and charged out. After eliminating the Earth Alliance soldier who killed his comrade, he targeted one of the Gundams. Murrue, seeing her comrade killed, also noticed Athrun below. Just as she raised her pistol, Athrun fired. Murrue felt a sharp pain in her arm, then collapsed.

Kira, who was beside her, had already turned pale as he watched the Earth Alliance soldiers fall one after another. Now, his only hope seemed to have been shot, and his face changed even more drastically.

Having never experienced war, he was at a loss, stepping forward to check Murrue's injuries. Athrun put away his empty submachine gun, pulled out a special combat knife, and used his jetpack to leap onto the Gundam. He knew the shot had only grazed Murrue's arm, not fatally wounding her. So he intended to finish Murrue off, but when he saw Kira, he froze.

"Kira?" And Kira also froze when he saw Athrun. Both handsome men were completely stunned at this moment. The burning flames of war made it difficult for them to see each other clearly, but both felt that the other resembled the person in their memories...

Murrue, regaining her composure, endured the pain in her right arm. Seeing that she was now positioned at the Gundam's cockpit, she pushed Kira aside without hesitation and jumped in herself. "Kira! Tsk!" Although Athrun really wanted to confirm if that person was the one he thought it was, the current situation didn't allow him to dwell on it. This Gundam couldn't be seized anymore. There was another one, which he absolutely had to seize. So he quickly moved to the other unit.

Both Gundams activated simultaneously, rising from their transport vehicles and bursting out of the factory into the open. Meanwhile, ten kilometers above them, a completely unknown entity was rapidly approaching with immense power.
