Next morning in Hokkaido…
Shina and Kuje get ready to head out.
But today's weather feels strange,dark clouds cover the sky, a light drizzle in the air. 🌧️
Shina (looking up):
👉 "Feels like it's going to rain today."
For the first time ever, Kuje actually agrees with her.
Kuje:
👉 "Hmm… Looks like it. Let's take umbrellas then."
Shina stares at him for a second–
Did this cockroach just agree with me? 😳
And so, both walk outside with umbrellas, setting off to their destination–
the famous Love Bridge 💞🌉.
🌉 The Legend of Love Bridge
Narrator voice:
👉 "There's an old saying about this bridge…
If two people walk across it under the same umbrella on a rainy day,
their bond will never be broken."
Kuje, of course, doesn't believe in such things 🙄.
But Shina secretly wonders if the legend could be true.
They take the metro 🚇, laughing a little as the train shakes, and finally arrive near the bridge.
But just then…
⚡ Shina realizes–she left her umbrella on the metro!
🌧️ Rain Begins
Within minutes, the sky bursts open. Heavy rain pours down. 🌧️
Shina: "Oh no… I'm gonna get soaked—"
But before she can finish, she feels a shadow above her.
She looks up,
👉 Kuje is holding his umbrella over her.
Her eyes widen in shock. 😳
Shina:
👉 "I-I'm not sharing an umbrella with a cockroach!"
Kuje (serious tone):
👉 "Stop complaining. You'll catch a cold."
For the first time, he acts like a true gentleman,
not letting her get even a drop wet, while he himself gets drenched on the other side. 💧
🌌 A Moment on the Bridge
They walk slowly across the Love Bridge.
Around them, other couples also share umbrellas, laughing, holding close, making the bridge glow with emotions.
Shina and Kuje stop midway, staring down at the rushing river below. 🌊
Despite the storm, the scene feels… beautiful.
Narrator:
👉 "Rain at this time of year in Hokkaido is rare… almost a miracle.
But maybe that's why it feels so magical tonight."
The rain grows heavier, the world almost dark…
Yet under that small umbrella, it feels like they are in
their own universe. 🌌
