The man gets up from his bed to walk towards the bathroom to brush his teeth, then takes a shower with music in the background. He gets out of the shower to put on his all black security uniform and looks at himself, silver hair and eyes, and chocolate skin, giving himself a little smile.
"New day, same boring job of looking around for 8 hours," he says in a sarcastic tone.
Silva gets up and walks out of his apartment, but remembered that he forgot to turn off his radio
"shit! I forgot to turn off my radio."
He re-opens the door again
"See you later, my little earthling radio."
The young man kisses his radio before leaving his apartment*
About 3 hours later, during his worktime,
"God damnit this is boring, i haven't done anything in the past 2 hours. "Just looking at the people walking around, and the nice-looking pizza store...damn, I kind of want some pizza now...." he says, now hungry because of his sudden urge to eat fast food but suddenly his phone vibrates.
He takes his ringing phone out of his pocket to see his workmate of about 2 months Arie calling him.
[Silva, this is Arie where are you currently?]
[I'm inside the Regi mall, why are you asking?] he replied to her question.
[I'm bored, I'm coming to see you.]
[...alright. "But would that not be a problem if you left your post?]
[Nahhhh, I'm with Pierro and Kalz right now. They said that I could go and that they got that.]
[Okay then, when are you coming?]

[Alright then, I'll wait here]
"I might as well buy the pizza if she gets here."
2 minutes later, Silva is currently sitting in a chair, waiting for his order to be finished when the awaiting coworker arrives.
"Hey, Silva."
"What's up Arie?" he replies.
The coworker sits in the chair in front of him
"So..."
"So what?" he asks Arie.
"Don't you find this job pretty boring?"
"I say that to myself every day Arie."
Their conversation gets interrupted by an incoming waiter
"Here's your pizza, sir," he says.
"Thank you."
"Oh pizza! may I?" she says, joyed by the fact that Silva thought of buying food in advance.
"Yea you can have a slice."
"Thanks!"
"The two start eating pizza while striking up a conversation"
Arie: "Hey, Silva."
"Muat? (what?)" he says, while chewing on his food.
"What's your dream?"
"To become a hero."
"Wooowww," she says, not expecting such a thing from him.
"Is that a problem?"
"N-no, not really."
"But I do think that would be very hard to achieve, because you would need to be awakened."
"Since there's no way in hell that the average person could harm the majority of the monsters out there, even with a weapon."
"I know that, but I still believe I could achieve it someday."
"Hmm"
"Are you awakened?"
Arie laughs at his question jokingly.
"I wish! But awakening isn't something you could just have..."

Suddenly, an alarm goes off, alerting all the people inside the mall.

During the message, the duo hear multiple growls in the distance, making them realize that the danger is closer to them than expected
