Chapter 38 - Chapter 38: The Anti-Shiba-Thor Armor—Don’t Think You Can Fool Me By Changing The Color, That’s Still Susano’o!

Ordinary Group Leader: "Maybe it's not that they underestimate technology. Maybe it's just your tech they're underestimating."

Honestly, the Iron Man suits looked cool, but let's face it—some of them really were weak. The strong versions only shone for a moment before getting stomped again. That Hulkbuster armor finally got to show off for a bit, then immediately got trashed in the next round.

And that scuffle with Captain America? Lost that one, too. "Going easy" or not, a loss is a loss.

And let's not even mention Thanos.

Richest Man: "You've got to be kidding me."

Glory of the Northern God: "Hammer.jpg"

Glory of the Northern God: "Your armor isn't even as strong as my hammer."

Richest Man: "???"

Richest Man: "!!!"

Richest Man: "It's bad enough being mocked by people, but now I'm getting roasted by a dog?!"

Richest Man: "Just you wait—my next suit is going to be the Anti-Thor Armor!"

Richest Man: "I'm going to use your hammer as an extra battery!"

With that, Tony Stark logged out—clearly, Thor's trolling had gotten under his skin. Brandon couldn't help but smile. He had no doubt Tony would build it, but which "Thor" that armor would target… that was another story.

Meanwhile, Firewing was not having it.

"You call this holding back?"

She glared furiously at Brandon, practically shouting. Brandon just raised his hands in helplessness.

"You're the one who asked for a spar," he said. "And you specifically said I couldn't hide my strength, but also couldn't go all-out—three-tenths power at most."

He shrugged. "Honestly, in this form, I'm barely using two-tenths. Isn't that holding back?"

He'd only used a sliver of his strength—and not even the real [Nature's Authority], either. If he tapped into that, he honestly couldn't even tell you what "percent" he was using, because with [Nature's Authority], power just responded to his will, as natural as breathing.

So instead, he'd called on another power—one he could actually control, thanks to his own unique bloodline. Even then, it was only a fraction.

"You're calling a giant over a hundred meters tall 'holding back'?!"

She pointed to the golden giant behind Brandon, shouting in disbelief. Even a casual anime fan would recognize that—Susano'o! Sure, he'd changed the color, but Firewing wasn't fooled.

"Are you trying to kill me?! I know I'm talented, but not that talented. I'm not Senju Hashirama or Uchiha Sasuke!"

"And you say that's only two-tenths strength? If that's two-tenths, what's full power—destroying the planet?!"

As Firewing's rant picked up steam, Brandon calmly interrupted:

"Can't do that," he said, almost cheerfully.

"What?"

"I can't destroy the planet—at least, not yet. But if I went all out, I could probably wipe out everything on the surface."

He grinned. "Earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes, landslides… it's all part of nature."

"..."

Firewing went silent, staring at him before letting out a sigh.

"I'm starting to think the whole point of the world's aura awakening wasn't for humanity to evolve," she muttered. "It was just to let you evolve. Otherwise, why are you so broken and the rest of us look so pathetic by comparison?"

She knew he was joking—but the scariest part was that he probably could do all that. Earthquakes, floods, all those disasters—if he could control nature, nothing was off limits.

And if he could do all this now, what about in the future? Aura didn't just mean "earth and sky"—it included everyone who awakened, and all the new monsters too. Would his power keep growing as the world changed?

How big would the gap be then?

She frowned. "Wait, how are you using Susano'o anyway?"

"Did you use some kind of special power to create that, or has someone on Earth really awakened Susano'o as an ability?"

"Is it those Japanese with their manga powers?"

Firewing was suddenly worried.

"What about the Mangekyo Sharingan? Rinnegan? Tenseigan? Has anyone awakened those?"

"What about Orochi? Wait, never mind—he supposedly got run out of China and isn't a threat anymore. Probably couldn't even beat me now."

"Do we have any abilities from Chinese web novels? Like special physiques?"

Brandon's face cycled from confusion to exasperation, then finally settled on pure resignation.

"Why would I know that?"

She gave him a look like he was the dumbest person alive. "Your power is 'nature,' right? Those things are part of nature now too, aren't they? Why wouldn't you know?"

"…That's… a surprisingly good point. I can't even argue with that."

He hesitated for a moment. Maybe he should try? In theory, he probably could do it…

"Wait—don't." Firewing cut him off. "I don't know why, but for a second there I felt like you were about to see right through me.

Let's just talk about the Susano'o thing."

"No idea," Brandon said with a casual shrug. "I really can't explain it."

He obviously couldn't admit that aside from awakening [Nature's Authority], he'd joined a chat group linking every world under the sun. He wasn't about to tell her that Uchiha Madara and Whitebeard were now his group chat buddies.

First prize from the lottery: Obito's Mangekyo Sharingan. His own powers made it change color, and Susano'o came along for the ride. But the chat group had strict rules—no leaking its secrets.

"You really expect me to buy that?" Firewing snorted, eyeing him suspiciously. "You probably just copied the Susano'o from anime, using aura to make a lookalike, right?

After all, aura is just like senjutsu chakra—it's all natural energy.

Susano'o's supposed to need eye power, but if that's chakra too, then you could just fake it.

Or you built it from other elements or something.

There's no way the real Susano'o would show up in real life.

I mean, unless you want to claim that because manga and anime are made by humans, and humans are part of nature, you can copy anything fictional as long as you want it badly enough."
