Arthav hit the water, and he hit hard. Luckily, he wasn't that much injured because the god had adapted his body to the new world. One second, he was plummeting through clouds — the next, drowning in salt and chaos. Arthav kicked and flailed, but… yeah, it was hard to do something with one hand, especially when you are bad at it with both. His vision blurred. His lungs burned. Then — a sudden yank. Something stretchy, like a rope, wrapped around his chest.
"Gomu Gomu no... Rescue!"

A jolt, a splash, and Arthav was airborne — slammed unceremoniously onto a small boat.
Cough! Cough!
He hacked up water like a human fountain.
Two faces loomed over him. One: a nervous, pink-haired boy with round glasses. The other: a guy with a straw hat and the biggest grin in the universe.
"Yo! You good?"Luffy tilted his head.
Arthav wheezed. "Am I... dead again?"
Koby: "W-What the hell?! Where did you even come from!?"
Arthav thought, "Well, I can't tell them that I came from another world, I don't know why other original characters do that, but I think it has something to go along the lines of the characters losing their minds, the characters losing their sanity."
So, Arthav replied to Koby, "I don't know, I just woke up in the sky and falling and getting rescued by this guy."
"Thank you for saving me, so.... are you guys going to tell me your name or am I supposed to guess?", he said to Luffy.
Luffy said, "I am Luffy, and I am going to be the king of the Pirates."
Koby said nervously, " I am Koby, and I dream to join the Marines."
Arthav said, " Well, I am Arthav, yes, I am one-handed, and yes, I said it for the reader, and I am looking for an adventure, so if you are okay with it, could you let me join you and let me experience the greatest adventure as your first mate and vice captain, Future Pirate King? Yes, I am weak for now, but I will become strong enough and not let you down. And even without strength, I have more knowledge of this world than most people."
Luffy laughed, "Shishishi, you are funny, weird, but weak, but I'll let you become my first mate and vice-captain because I feel you will be fun. So, you should get strong."
"Thank you, Captain," Arthav said.
Luffy said, "I have a crew member already. Shishishi, this is fun."
Koby: "...You both are insane."
Both just laugh without care. All 3 can soon see Shell's town in view.
