Koul was met with not one shocking revelation but two!
When he found out he had wives, he had thought of them to be within his age range or slightly older.
However, this!… was definitely not among his deductions or expectations.
That he would get to bang a….
Isn't this pure bliss?
Then… are all my wives milfs?
Koul's eyes remained resting on her that it got her more tensed and uncomfortable. Even the elders and his brother couldn't help but wonder why he remained staring.
I was forbidden to see them or even summon them. Yet, one of them has graced me with her presence by herself.
How lucky am I?
But wait… he peeled his eyes away from his wife, Yui, and dragged it over to the task screen.
Is the system telling me to already bang her? In order to lift my impotency, I need to get her into bed?
A heavy sigh escaped him as he crouched to take his seat.
Not that I'm complaining, but…. how do I even begin?
I don't want to do anything to anyone unless they're willing. But as my reputation goes, I don't think anyone would be willing to do anything with me. Sigh!
Koul tilted his head to rest it against his hand while his eyes swept around the elders intensely as if scrutinizing them.
It made their eyes awkwardly dart around, wondering what Koul could be thinking within him.
But, within Koul, he was more disturbed by his new task.
A time limit of three days, huh? Will that be enough to make her willing?
Plus, I can't even act anyhow I like since I have to act in line with the real Koul's personality or get a penalty.
Sigh......
The whole room was shrouded in heavy silence. Every eye was on Koul, waiting for him to speak but the turmoil in his mind was weighing heavily on him.
Anyways!… he shut his eyes, reopening them with locked in focus. Let's clear out the first task first!
He lifted his gaze, intending to allow them sit since they had earlier stood up to greet him. But, since he wasn't really paying attention, he failed to notice they had already taken their seats along with him.
Tsk! Anger threatened to brood in his chest but one glance at his wife instantly melted it.
It's not of a gentle man's nature to keep a woman standing anyway.
But… what is she doing here? Why is she even here when she's my wife and not a council elder?
I'm happy I got a chance to at least see one of my wives, but….
Is she here because she's in cahoots with the council elders and my brother?
Koul shook his head vigorously,
No, concentrate! The first task, first!
Koul dragged his eyes away from his wife, unwilling to drown in her enticing beauty.
He tightened his expression, putting on a stern face. Then he leaned forward, placing both elbows on the table and resting his chin against his clasped hands.
He then stared forward with cold eyes that held no emotion, signaling the start of the discussion.
"I hear there's an event being held here tomorrow," he started calmly.
There was no response at first, but as he waited, his brother spoke up gleefully.
"Yes, of course! It's the entertaining festival where knights of different kingdoms prove their braveness and strength," he said, taking the first seat near Koul which an elder had relinquished.
Koul simply stared at his brother, marveled that this man was supposed to be his older brother.
He can't even act well.
"I see," Koul replied, keeping his serious look.
"So why are you all gathered here today?" He asked, eyes darting from one elder to another.
"I mean, why have you gathered here today without inviting me?" He rephrased.
"And why is my older brother here? I had no idea he would be paying me a visit. No one informed me."
The air grew tense from Koul's questions. And the elders could only glance around awkwardly, unable to let out any meaningful response.
Yes, feel the weight of acting without my consent.
I am a king. I ought to be informed of everything that takes place in the palace and everything regarding my kingdom.
But you lot have acted without my knowledge, casting me aside like I mean nothing.
"Have I been brought so low that I'm deemed unworthy of such information? Or…" his eyes darted to his brother.
"..is this some sort of secret meeting where you plan my downfall and demise?"
His brother's eyes snapped wide open, overridden with shock at Koul's blatancy. Even the elders were taken aback with how direct he came.
They were dumbfounded, simply surprised at the situation and weighed down by how true Koul's words were at some point.
After a moment of allowing cold sweat and guilt glisten their faces, Koul spoke up.
This time, cheerfully.
"Of course not! That can't be it, hahaha," he chuckled aloud, switching the atmosphere from tense to a vibrant one.
"How can you all meet up to plan my demise when my lovely brother is here? He loves me so much he would kill you all before you even have that thought, haha," he laughed shamelessly.
"Right, brother?"
He turned to his brother and asked.
"Huh? Ah.. ye-yeah…hahaha," his brother responded awkwardly, the corners of his lips twitching as he chuckled forcefully.
Shameless bunch!
"You're totally right, your majesty. How can we bear such evil thoughts against you? That itself is treason!" One of the elders said, and the others nodded in agreement.
Lying serpents.
Koul threw a glance toward his wife and saw her eyes darting awkwardly about. She was trying to avoid any contact with not just him, but everyone present.
She feels so out of place. Then why come here in the first place?
"While I do understand that the event is tomorrow, it still eludes me the reason for this meeting," he said.
"Is there something I should know?"
"Yes brother," his older brother immediately responded before any one could.
"While the event starts tomorrow, you should be made aware that King Sestrus will be arriving here in the evening."
King Sestrus…..
[Host, he's a king from a kingdom not too far from yours. You both are not exactly in good terms and trouble always breaks out when you're together,] the system quickly revealed.
"And judging from your past experiences with him, we know he's only coming to incite trouble," his brother continued.
"That is why we all thought I should represent you for the event. And brother, since you recently only healed from your sickness, I think you should rest more."
I see. So he still isn't backing down even though I'm here.
