Skyler smiled as she nodded her head and let out a soft "hmmm".
Immediately aunty Abbie left the room,she fell on the bed looking at the ceiling. Images of their encounter at the corporation kept flashing before her.

She muttered under her breath. She stood up and decided to unpack, after unpacking she took her bath and laid on the bad to take a nap.

The board members held an emergency meeting due to the decrease of stock because of the scandal caused. Regaleon was already fed up with their comments.
" Mr Grafton. If you can't resolve this matter I don't think you can handle the corporation in general. The stocks have decreased immensely and most of our partners have cancelled some contracts due to the explosive video of you on the internet." one of the major shareholder, Mr Torres said while the others agreed.
He didn't want to waste his time and energy explaining his innocence in this. Clearly it was a scandal aimed at him. He didn't know who was behind it, it could even be anyone sitted here and he didn't trust any of them.
He adjusted his tie and he cleared his throat. His demeanor was cold and nonchalant but within him was a feeling he hated more, fear. He can't afford to lose his father's legacy, his birthright to someone who didn't work for it,who had no idea of managing a small business talk less of a corporation.

He cursed inwardly." I appreciate your concern about this but I would like to let you know that the situation is under control. My team is trying their best to control the spread of the video. Regaleon paused as he looked around the conference room while tapping his pen on the table ".. I'll will hold a press conference to clearify the situation. Thank you."
He said before walking out with Wilson behind him.
" Wilson. Inform the press that I would like to hold a conference meeting at 7pm tomorrow right her in the conference room"
" Ok sir. "" uhmm... Mr Grafton." Wilson called out.

Regaleon immediately paused as he slowly turned to look at Wilson.

" I'll meet him at the Nightingale bar. 9pm tonight. "
" Ok sir" Wilson bowed respectfully before walking away from Regaleon but before he could take few steps away he heard Regaleon call him back.
" Tell him to meet me tomorrow instead" Regaleon said as he adjusted his tie.
" Ok sir. Is there anything else you want me to do??."
" Prepare the car. I'm going back home"
Home??. I thought..... Well almost forgot there's a guest in his house.

Skyler slept until it was dark, aunty Abbie woke her up saying dinner was ready.
She freshened up and went downstairs where she saw the dinning room filled different meals. She quietly sat down but she looked around to see that she was the only one seated to eat.
" Aunty Abbie??." She called out with a soft smile.
" Yes. Do you need anything? "
" No. But isn't Mr Grafton coming home for dinner??."
" I'm sorry miss. I have no idea"
"Ohhh. " She muttered under her breath as she held her cutlery while Aunty Abbie served her a plate of creamy pasta with steak.
He must have been busy with work. Hmph. None of my business.
She thought to herself as she chewed her food gently.
" Miss. Enjoy your meal"
Aunty Abbie's voice distracted her thoughts. She just nodded her headShe looked around the table and saw the different varieties of food but she was the only one present.
What a waste.
How on earth was she supposed to finish this.
This was literally her food in a whole week.

In the end she finished her meal quietly, alone . She felt bored so she decided to take a stroll around the house, as she walked out of the dinning room towards the door, a huge figure appeared in front of her and grabbed her arm.
" Thinking of running away??"
A deep voice echoed through the door filled with distain
" Mr.... Mr Grafton. You are back".
" What??. Didn't want me to return?? "
His cold, ruthless tone said as the grip on her arm tighten.
" Owww!!. It's hurts" Skyler cried out in pain as his grip tighten." You are hurting me."
She tried to move his hand from her arm but he was too strong. Regaleon's face darkened seeing her expression. Tears glistened in her beautiful big eyes as she bit her lip as though she was trying to avoid crying, the tip of her nose was red, she looked so pitiful. Regaleon's mind went blank for a minute as he subconsciously released her from his grip.
Immediately he released her, she stepped back as she gently rubbed her arm to reduce the pain he had inflicted on her.
" Don't you ever think of running away cause I'll always find you. None of my belongings ever gets missing."
His cold voice echoed through the empty living room and her mind as he walked pasted her. She felt so wrong. She just wanted to get some fresh air and he's accusing her for trying to run away. How pathetic.
