The Ten-Headed Fiery Sun Serpent went berserk. Its colossal body thrashed wildly, its front half rearing up as it spewed torrents of fiery poison.
Dugu Feng swiftly retreated onto the Emerald Dragon Snake, soaring into the sky while leaving the other serpent to tear viciously at its foe.

He cast a pitying glance at the serpent's corpse. Bit of a bully move... But you were too useful to spare.
With a wave of his hand, the golden-red core dropped into his palm. A primal urge surged—to swallow it whole.
