Chapter 20 - Chapter 20 The Wind Sword Sect's Arcane Blade

"Dugu Feng, I challenge you! My Soul Power level is lower than yours, so it's fair if Boss boosts me first, right?"

Feng Ling pointed his blue light sword as he issued the challenge, finding an excuse to save face.

Right after, Feng Li stood up with a provocative expression.

All the students turned to look at Dugu Feng.

Even Ge Ying glanced over, his face calm as he made no move to stop the conflict between Ning Rongrong and Dugu Feng.

In his eyes, this was just children's play.

As long as no accidents happened, he'd let these privileged kids do as they pleased.

Did anyone really think these students came to school to study?

"Wind brothers, a challenge huh?

My Soul Power is two levels higher than yours, so you two can come at me together. Wouldn't want rumors saying I bullied the weak!"

Dugu Feng said arrogantly.

Ning Rongrong first looked incredulous, then excited: "You asked for this! If you lose, you have to call me Boss!"

Feng Ling and Feng Li exchanged meaningful glances—this fool clearly didn't know about the Wind Sword Sect's special trait.

"Little brother, in our Wind Sword Sect, what does one plus one equal?" Feng Ling asked dramatically.

"Big brother, one plus one equals at least five. This guy seems a bit slow!" Feng Li played along seamlessly.

Though the two seemed like villains, the surrounding students actually nodded in agreement.

Even Ge Ying agreed.

The Wind Sword Sect's specialty lay in their coordinated attacks and Sword Formations—their individual strength wasn't particularly overwhelming.

"Dugu Feng's poison is formidable, but facing both Wind brothers at once is overconfidence. I hope he doesn't get injured during the Soul Duel," Ge Ying thought.

Ning Rongrong strode out proudly—though there wasn't much to stride with—her head held high.

Dugu Feng curled his lip and followed.

Seeing entertainment afoot, the other students immediately called their friends to share the fun.

The Soul Duel Arena stood behind the teaching building—a two-meter-high platform enclosed by railings, made of granite, perfectly suited for elementary-level duels.

Dugu Feng stepped onto the platform.

Facing the Wind brothers, he declared: "Dugu Feng, Martial Soul Azure Phosphorus Serpent, 13th Rank One-Ring Battle Soul Master. I seek your guidance!"

The atmosphere grew solemn. Neither the spectators nor Ning Rongrong treated this lightly.

Soul Duels were nobles' battles—all-out contests that demanded full seriousness every time.

"Feng Li, Martial Soul Wind Sword, 11th Rank One-Ring Tool Soul Master!"

"Feng Ling, Martial Soul Wind Sword, 11th Rank One-Ring Tool Soul Master. Begin!"

"Ning Rongrong, Martial Soul Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, 12th Rank One-Ring Tool Soul Master!" Even Ning Rongrong seriously announced her Martial Soul.

Despite the Wind brothers taking the field, she still chose to boost them.

It had to be said Ning Rongrong took Dugu Feng seriously. She thought: "Dugu Bo of the Dugu family recently broke through to Titled Douluo, elevating their status to top-tier.

Dugu Feng's calm demeanor and serpent control show deep poison mastery. If he grows up, he'll become another powerhouse. This is the perfect chance to test his caliber!"

If Dugu Feng could hear Ning Rongrong's inner thoughts, he would surely be surprised—was this really the same spoiled Ning Rongrong?

It turned out that Ning Rongrong had been provoking him from the moment he entered the classroom for a reason.

At this moment, Ning Rongrong moved into action.

"Seven Treasures reveal their glazed form!" As she spoke, her slender body gracefully spun in place.

A brilliant seven-colored light enveloped her entire body, eventually coalescing into a foot-tall, radiant pagoda in the palm of her right hand. The pagoda shimmered with an imposing noble aura, further enhanced by the seven-colored glow, making Ning Rongrong appear ethereal, truly embodying the grace of a princess.

"Seven Treasures are Named, the First is Power!" A yellow Spirit Ring rose from beneath her feet, enveloping the seven-colored pagoda.

Her first Soul Skill boosted strength by twenty percent—a seemingly modest increase, but this skill scaled with her Soul Power. By the time she became a Great Soul Master, it would increase to thirty percent, and at Soul Expert level, forty percent. The stronger she became, the greater the amplification—this was the terrifying aspect of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda's Soul Skills.

Two beams of colored light shot forth, enveloping Feng Ling and Feng Li.

The two brothers already held their Wind Swords, ready to strike. Now, under Ning Rongrong's enhancement, they felt as if they had taken a potent tonic—their faces flushed, their bodies brimming with power.

"Storm Sword!"

"Storm Sword!"

Feng Ling and Feng Li's glowing swords flashed, transforming in an instant into illusory sword shadows. The shadows grew with the wind, splitting into six longswords each in midair. Normally, with their first Soul Skill, each could split their sword into twelve blades, but since they had just reached level 11 and their skills weren't yet refined, they could only control six each.

Combined, the two summoned twelve blue glowing swords. The swords soared into the sky, forming towering greatswords. The twelve massive blades arranged themselves into a circular Sword Formation, a sight that was somewhat intimidating.

The Sword Formation descended toward Dugu Feng.

This was the unique trait of the Wind Sword Sect—unlike other Martial Souls, they specialized in sword control and formations. To Dugu Feng, it somewhat resembled a spell-like sword technique.

"Azure Phosphorus Violet Venom!"

Dugu Feng smiled faintly, his eyes turning purple as dense violet mist spewed from his mouth. The mist rapidly spread through the air, surging toward the Feng brothers.

The purple fog lingered without dispersing, covering even the sky and shrouding the entire Soul Duel Stage in haze.

Ning Rongrong and the other two were startled—why did this poisonous mist cover such a vast area?

"He's only at level 13 Soul Power, so why is his attack so overwhelming?" Ge Ying, watching from below the stage, frowned in shock.

Normally, a level 13 Soul Master's first Spirit Ring attack would be very weak—nothing like Dugu Feng's technique, which enveloped the entire arena. What Ge Ying didn't know was that Dugu Feng's Soul Power was amplified by his Core Pearls—two of them, in fact—making his energy reserves far beyond ordinary standards.

Meanwhile, the situation on the Soul Duel Stage changed again.

In the sky, six of the twelve glowing swords interwove, forming a rotating shield. The brothers, seeing the ferocity of Dugu Feng's venomous mist, quickly adapted, attempting to disperse the purple fog with wind—their swords being wind-attributed.

The remaining six swords formed a circular formation, descending from above to strike at Dugu Feng's position.

"Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!"

Six piercing sounds rang out as six light swords struck sparks upon the ground, yet Dugu Feng's figure was nowhere to be seen.

Shrouded in the purple mist, Dugu Feng's keen eyes allowed him to evade the slashing light swords by shifting several steps to the right using the Serpent's Belly Sword Footwork.

Across from him, the Feng brothers wore expressions of alarm.

They had already caught the pungent scent of blood in the air, their minds growing faintly dizzy.

Dugu Feng could only shake his head at the sight—their sword control lacked variation, far too immature.
