After that harsh lesson, Fang Zhou wised up.
He honestly focused his Spiritual Power and held out against the Blood Spirit Bat Wolf's storm‑like soul backlash.
After about the time for a cup of tea, the Soul Power contained in Leng Feng's blood finally fused with the Blood Spirit Bat Wolf's Soul Fire.
Fang Zhou withdrew his Spiritual Power, and the Blood Spirit Bat Wolf once again quieted down.
With the Soul Mark imprinted, a subtle connection was formed between Leng Feng and the Blood Spirit Bat Wolf before him.
Leng Feng was thrilled; he wiped away the blood at the corner of his lips and was about to go up and try how it felt.
But Fang Zhou called him back and handed him a rein.
"This is a Blood Spirit Bat Wolf rein I refined.
With it, you'll be able to control the Blood Spirit Bat Wolf much better."
Leng Feng snapped a salute at Fang Zhou, then excitedly grabbed the Blood Spirit Bat Wolf rein and rode the Blood Spirit Bat Wolf, galloping through the woods.
