Perhaps this wasn't an Array at all, but a slaughterhouse or an experimental site! The beings imprisoned in the ten levels of the prison above... they weren't criminals, but Undead Creatures! They were living materials, about to be dragged into this laboratory for inhumane experiments!
Of course, that wasn't all. In reality, everything Fang Zhou observed—the tables, chairs, torture devices, skeletons, and blood—occupied only a tiny portion of this vast space.
In the center of this slaughterhouse stood an altar. Though small, its shape was almost identical to the one Fang Zhou had destroyed in the Cemetery Hills. The difference was that the altar he had previously destroyed had been occupied by modified and enhanced Zombies. This small altar, however, was laden with broken Skeletons.
