Just when everyone was frowning and almost at a loss, Jiang An's phone suddenly rang, the clear ringtone sounding particularly abrupt in the oppressive air.
He quickly took the phone out of his pocket, and a familiar landline number appeared on the screen — the toxicology lab's number.
He immediately pressed the answer button, holding the phone close to his ear, "Hello, please go ahead."
A clear and steady voice from the lab staff came from the other end, "Mr. Jiang, reporting to you."
"The test results of the samples you previously sent to the physical and chemical lab are out."
Jiang An's expression tensed up, yet his tone remained calm, "Alright, please tell me, what are the results?"
"No common toxic substances were detected in the male deceased's body, but the alcohol content in his blood is extremely high."
"Alcohol content?"
Jiang An slightly raised his voice, "What exactly is the number?"
"Did the blood alcohol concentration reach 220? That's not a low number."
