Just as Sun Hang was about to drive off, his peripheral vision seemed to catch a glimpse of a pale white figure briefly flashing atop a distant building.
The commercial area under Eternal Night had very faint light sources, yet the figure emitted a faint glow. Although it appeared for less than 0.1 seconds, it left a distinct yet vague afterimage on Sun Hang's retina.
"What was that?" Sun Hang was instantly on alert.
He suspected the fleeting white figure might be a mysterious creature, but it was truly too far away, and he couldn't sense any aura from such beings at all.
The hotel parking lot was over a thousand meters straight-line distance from the building, entirely beyond Sun Hang's perception range.
Sun Hang stared for a few minutes, but the white figure never reappeared.
This was definitely not a hallucination; the white figure truly existed. It clung to the rooftop edge of the building, sliding quickly, disappearing behind the building in the blink of an eye.
