Jiang Xinli was slung over the dark figure's shoulder as it sprinted wildly, the wind whistling past as gravel and stones scraped against the large net that held her.
The area was swarming with Puppet Corpses, yet the dark figure moved through them with ease, weaving nimbly through the horde.
She tried to move, only to discover that her entire body was paralyzed. She could only move her mouth.
"Put me down!" Jiang Xinli roared. "My Beast Husbands won't let you get away with this!"
"Lord Jiang, calm yourself," the dark figure sneered. "Your Beast Husbands may only have 1st Rank Superpowers, but they are surprisingly strong. However, with so many Puppet Corpses to deal with, they can't even fend for themselves right now."
