Cole Sutton has served by Old Master Grant's side for years. Though he is the Grant Family's chief steward, he resembles Aiden Grant's father less than he does Old Master Grant's own son.
Ever since Aiden's father left for abroad, it's been Cole who has dutifully cared for Old Master Grant like a true son. After so many years together, he only needs a few words from Old Master Grant to roughly guess his true intent.
At these words, Cole lifted his head and looked at the old man, whose eyes were obviously filled with worry. He nodded gently, signaling that he understood.
"Aiden is just like his father in temperament. All passion, no ambition," Old Master Grant said, his eyes full of wisdom. After a pause, he shook his head and sighed. "That little Shaw girl—I don't ask much of her, just that she can protect herself. Otherwise... history will repeat itself."
