Lily Shaw was momentarily stunned. Why did it feel like the big liar was jealous? His tone was even more sour than vinegar, making her both amused and helpless.
This man was getting more controlling. He forced her to change out of her wedding dress on the day of their marriage, and afterward, subtly managed her eating, dressing, living, and travel. Now, he even controlled who she called.
"I never thought that the decisive Eldest Young Master Grant could be such a busybody." Lily Shaw spoke with a teasing tone, wanting to see how this reserved-turned-flamboyant guy would respond to her.
Eldest Young Master Grant snorted, "Wife, this isn't meddling, it's being considerate. I'm just curious because I saw you smiling so happily."
Watching the stubborn old duck make excuses, Lily Shaw chuckled softly, then leaned closer to his embrace and said, "Weren't you always looking for a ring? I promised back then I'd help you find it, and now there's a clue."
