Lily Shaw cast a cold glance toward the direction where Morgan City and his family of three had left, thinking to herself that Morgan City really knew his place—seeing that things were going south, he took his wife and daughter and skipped out right away.
"Mrs. Morgan, have you made up your mind yet?" Lily played with Eldest Young Master Grant's fingers, asking in an offhand manner.
"Time's about up. Honey, let's go." Eldest Young Master Grant checked his watch, turned his hand to grip Lily's slender wrist and was about to leave.
Mrs. Morgan was nearly grinding her silver teeth to dust, staring at Lily and Eldest Young Master Grant's departing backs, and seeing the reproach in the other younger Morgans' eyes—she almost couldn't catch her breath.
"Lily, grandma owes you an apology. I'm sorry." Mrs. Morgan clenched her fists so tight, it seemed she poured all her strength into squeezing these words out.
