Lily Shaw was silently brought by Gigi Sawyer to the entrance of the Regal Hotel.
The security guard responsible for checking invitations frowned at the clearly counterfeit invitation and was about to reprimand them when a familiar female voice spoke up: "Hey there, is there a problem with this invitation?"
Lily Shaw's face radiated a sweet smile, her eyes curving in a way that made her look like an innocent and naive girl next door.
However, upon seeing her face, the security guard swallowed the reprimand he was about to utter. Receiving Lily Shaw's signal, he cleared his throat and said, "No problem, ladies, please go in."
Gigi Sawyer hurriedly snatched back the invitation, quickly rushing inside in her high heels, dragging along a casually dressed Lily Shaw who, in her sneakers, had no trouble keeping up with the sprint.
