Mandy Young held it in all the way and finally couldn't resist pulling Lily Shaw into the garden under the company building once the police car left.
"Lily, did your guy do something? Otherwise, why would Director Warren's attitude change so dramatically? Tsk tsk, look at him, fawning, trying to please, almost to the point of groveling."
"Director Warren's just a bit enthusiastic, it's not that exaggerated. The Eldest Young Master Grant is a busy man and isn't clairvoyant. How could he possibly know we were going to the police station so quickly?" Lily Shaw rolled her eyes at her, though she had the same suspicion in her mind, after all, the man had warned her before work this morning.
"Lily, maybe it really was him?" Mandy Young bit her lip; she'd only seen Aiden Grant a few times and didn't know him well.
But she did know that the Eldest Young Master Grant had feelings for Lily Shaw.
