Lily Shaw shrugged and walked up to him, grabbed his big hand and gave it a shake: "Husband, it's my fault. I shouldn't have deliberately refused to cook for you."
Aiden Grant's expression softened a bit—at least this little woman knew her place, knew to apologize and admit she was wrong.
But who'd have thought Lily would suddenly switch gears and start lecturing him: "Husband, I was wrong not to cook for you. But you deliberately having double-skin milk for lunch, that's not right either. Don't give me any excuses. No matter what you say, I'm not buying it."
Aiden was stunned for a second, then he glared at the smug little woman standing there with her arms crossed and laughing, struggling to spit out a phrase: "Twisting words and making trouble!"
"Hmph, say whatever you want." Lily spun around and walked off. After a few steps, she stopped, "Husband, I made dinner for you. It's on the dining table. Take your time and enjoy. I need to go out for a bit."
