"No need, you can come at seven in the evening." Aiden Grant refused his brother's suggestion without hesitation. He didn't want anyone to see Lily Shaw seriously cooking; that was something exclusive to him, not even his brother was allowed.
Connor Grant was just teasing casually, already expecting this answer. He laughed and hung up the phone.
Aiden headed straight for the third floor. He walked to the deli section and stared blankly at the roast chicken that once brought him so much joy.
The lady behind him saw him standing there without buying anything, and with her burly figure, she forcefully nudged Eldest Young Master Grant aside. Watching him stagger and nearly fall, she said insincerely, "Young man, I'm just impatient. Sorry about that."
