Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: The Domineering Young Master Grant

"I won't let go." Aiden narrowed his eyes dangerously, but his tone was calm as water. The arms he had wrapped around Lily Shaw's waist tightened again and again.

"Husband, can you loosen your hands? My waist is about to be strangled off by you." Lily clearly saw the ice shards gathering in Eldest Young Master Grant's eyes, and she was afraid he might really lose control and snap her waist.

"Call me that again." Eldest Young Master Grant immediately lowered his head and stamped a kiss on her forehead, his voice lifting a little as he made his demand.

"Husband." Lily secretly rolled her eyes, but still did as he said.

The smile returned to Eldest Young Master Grant's face, only he not only didn't loosen his hold, he hugged her even tighter.

"Husband, can you let me sit by myself?" Lily reached up and wrapped her arms around Aiden's neck, speaking in a syrupy, coquettish tone. She was someone who could bend and stretch; to get what she wanted, sacrificing a bit of dignity was no big deal.

She didn't want to keep sitting on his thigh in such an ambiguous way. This posture was way too intimate. It was clearly their first day meeting—how could they possibly be this close already?

"Wifey, if you keep twisting around like that, I really won't be able to hold back from doing you right here in the car." Eldest Young Master Grant lowered his head and bit her earlobe; he knew this was one of her sensitive spots.

Lily, not afraid of death, twisted a few more times and discovered that this man really had no reaction at all. She smiled especially sweetly.

"Husband, your hardware seems to be malfunctioning…"

Aiden clearly froze for a second, then followed the little woman's gaze down and finally realized what she meant.

He was silent for a while, then suddenly looked up and gave her a wicked smile. "Wifey, I can satisfy you with my hands too."

Lily's face flushed bright red in an instant; she'd only said it casually.

She was already an adult. Even if she had no hands-on combat experience, she'd learned through various channels and naturally knew a thing or two about that stuff between men and women.

"Husband, um, can I sit by myself? You've been busy all day; you must be tired. I feel bad for you and don't want you to get even more tired." Lily's mind turned quickly; she looked up at him with a bright smile, rubbing her cheek against his, her brows and eyes curved like a cute little kitty.

Aiden hadn't expected Lily to say something like that. Even if those weren't her true feelings, it still felt good hearing it.

Pampered by his newlywed wife's soft, coaxing voice, Eldest Young Master Grant felt so comfortable that he was even less willing to let go of the little woman in his arms. He was a grown man—how could he possibly get tired from holding his own woman?

"Wifey, I'm not tired."

Lily: "…" So all that talking she did was for nothing!

Forget it. If he liked holding her, then he could hold her. Lily curled her lips into a small smile. Nestling in his arms was actually pretty comfortable—perfect for a nap.

Lily stopped talking and stopped trying to get out of Aiden's embrace. Instead, she tilted her head and rested it against his warm chest, closed her eyes, and tried to catch up on sleep.

She hadn't been sleeping well these past few days. The moment she thought about marrying the man she'd secretly loved for ten years today, her nerves had been on a constant high.

Aiden stood at one eighty-five, plus he always kept up with his workouts. Strong and sturdy as he was, he could carry Lily around all day long without feeling tired.

At one-sixty tall and under a hundred pounds, Lily in her white wedding dress was curled up in his arms like a little white rabbit. Every now and then, because of the car's jolts, she would nuzzle against his chest. That wholehearted dependence made Aiden's heart overflow with happiness.

If only, when she woke up, she could still be this well-behaved and docile, that would be perfect. He would go to any lengths to spoil her, give her everything she wanted—everything except Miles Morgan.
