These two bottles of fine wine he planned to keep for himself to enjoy slowly before the wine inside turned completely into plain water.
"Changle agreed to marry, today is truly a great day for our Hou Mansion."
The Champion Hou was beaming, raising the exquisite "wine bottle" in his hand, its army green body glistening seductively in the candlelight.
"Come, come, today is a happy day, everyone should taste this rare sauce-flavored wine. You just need to pull the ring at the top before you can drink."
The Champion Hou said, demonstrating the pulling action with the pull ring. "Like this."
His loud voice echoed in the grand hall with carved beams and painted rafters.
With a strong pull of his index finger on the ring, there was a soft "pop" sound, the metal ring fell, and the safety lever bounced open.
Everyone at the table followed suit, a series of metallic clicks rising and falling like some sort of eerie melody.
