After finding out Anna was a little foodie, he rolled up his sleeves and learned how to cook.
He kept at it for years, making one or two dishes at night from time to time, afraid that if he really cooked for Anna Morgan someday, his skills would have gotten rusty and he'd disappoint her.
Luckily, the food he made suited Anna Morgan's taste perfectly.
"Hubby, you're amazing."
Unable to wait, Anna Morgan picked up the bowl of soup Carter Lockwood had ladled for her and started drinking. The taste was so good it made her glow with delight.
"I finally know why I love you so much."
"Before I lost my memory, the two of us must've been head-over-heels in love," Anna Morgan couldn't help adding extra drama for herself and Carter.
Carter watched her drink with soup at the corners of her mouth, pressed his lips into a smile. "Careful, it's hot."
"Right? Isn't that true?" Seeing Carter didn't answer, Anna Morgan asked again.
