Wyatt knew why she was crying, so he purposefully moved closer to Serena's face, smiling as he blew on her eyes.
Serena was amused, looking at the face similar to hers, tears finally uncontrollably rolling down.
"I'm really not crying because I'm sad."
"Seeing them, it hurts!"
The words were contradictory; Serena felt both sad and not sad.
Her and Wyatt's parents finally came together again, still so in love. But twenty years ago, they split up, causing Serena a pain that would never fade in this lifetime.
She felt troubled, her throat dry, her heart aching, and then she thought of Ethan who had left, altogether feeling discomfort everywhere.
Wyatt understood her; compared to him, his sister had suffered more, and as a brother, he also felt sad at this moment.
He didn't say much, just reached out and pulled Serena into his arms.
