The door was opened again, and this time it wasn't Wyatt but Mrs. Sterling who entered.
She came in seeing Mr. Sterling smoking a cigarette, gently taking it away from him, "Simon, I've told you not to smoke!"
Who could have imagined that the perfect, aloof Mr. Sterling was actually a heavy smoker.
And once upon a time, he didn't touch cigarettes.
"Hm." Mr. Sterling responded, extinguishing the lit cigarette under Mrs. Sterling's supervision but didn't throw it into the trash can.
"Simon, has Serena Sullivan really gone missing?" Mrs. Sterling looked at Mr. Sterling and asked softly.
"It seems so."
"So you're not gonna help look for her?"
Mr. Sterling curled his lips, smiling at Mrs. Sterling, "Whenever someone goes missing, I have to help look? Can I manage all that?"
"Serena is different."
Mrs. Sterling fixed her gaze on Mr. Sterling's eyes, probing, "She is your..."
"My daughter?" Mr. Sterling calmly took over Mrs. Sterling's words, "Has Felicity slept yet?"
