"Serena." Joel Quinn didn't continue speaking right away; he sighed, then gradually approached Serena Sullivan.
As he leaned closer, Serena instinctively rolled her wheelchair back, but before she could move very far, the armrest was grasped by him.
Serena looked up and saw Joel Quinn smiling at her, his gaze lingering over her body.
"Serena, I really didn't mean it."
"I've arranged everything for you at The Sullivan Corporation."
Joel Quinn spoke warmly, his gaze slowly drifting to Serena's neck exposed in the air, his smile deepening, as he lifted his hand and placed it on Serena's shoulder.
Serena's body went rigid abruptly, and she turned her head, eyes gathering a coldness that shot towards Joel Quinn.
In front of all these people, Joel Quinn, showing tact, withdrew his hand and continued, "Just do your work well at The Sullivan Corporation."
