Xu Ru'an exclaimed, "Lu Yuan, your hand is injured."
Lu Yuan raised his hand and glanced at his palm, nonchalantly saying, "It's nothing, just a scratch."
He had accidentally slipped earlier, using his hand to brace against a rock and getting scratched.
And it wasn't an ordinary scratch; some of the wounds seemed quite deep, Xu Ru'an felt a bit guilty, "Sorry, it's all because of me."
Lu Yuan joked, "It's rare for you to apologize to me."
Xu Ru'an didn't respond, just shook her shoulders.
Lu Yuan panicked, "Xu Ru'an, are you crying?"
Xu Ru'an didn't speak, and Lu Yuan leaned in to see her eyes were red.
Lu Yuan quickly said, "Xu Ru'an, I'm fine, it's just a scratch, nothing major. Don't you always say I have thick skin? It doesn't hurt."
Xu Ru'an wiped her tears with her hand, not speaking.
She pulled out a silk scarf from her bag and wrapped it around Lu Yuan's hand,
Lu Yuan dared not move, afraid that any movement might upset Xu Ru'an again.
