Chapter 215 - Announcement

Yahoo! This is Inorin.

First, I want to sincerely apologize for the lack of recent chapter uploads on Webnovel and Patreon. I am truly sorry to have disappointed my readers and my supporters. I will only be able to resume updates this coming 11th, and I promise I will make up for all the chapters I missed these past few days.

The reason I haven't uploaded is... well, it seems all my electronic devices are just getting old. My laptop battery has been damaged for a while, the screen is covered in lines, and even my phone's battery and screen are failing. To make matters worse, last week my laptop's SSD locked up. It turned out to have a bad sector, forcing me to replace it. I checked a local repair shop, but their price was double what it costs to buy the parts online. So, I ordered a new SSD, battery, and laptop screen myself, and the parts just arrived today. I'm taking it in for service immediately, and hopefully, it will be fully repaired by tomorrow.

Unfortunately, the repairs were expensive, costing around $100-$150. Because of this bad luck, the support from all of you—which should have lasted me another two months—will now only last until next month. That's all that remains for me to eat decent meals.

If you are wondering if I am abandoning these novels: I will never abandon them. I have to say this shamelessly: I am only able to survive and afford proper food because of all your support.

If you're thinking, "Why don't you just get a job?"—it's very difficult to find work in my country, especially since my highest qualification is only a high school diploma. Even if I found a job, it would likely only pay around $200-$250 a month, and my current situation as a college student complicates things further. I've technically been enrolled in university for six years but haven't graduated due to financial shortages, which forced me to take a two-year hiatus. Now, all that's left is to finish my thesis to earn my Bachelor's degree (S1). I only have six months left before I am dropped out (DO) if I don't complete it in that time. On the bright side, my university tuition is still very cheap, only requiring $300-$350 every six months, which covers both tuition and lodging.

Anyway, please ignore all my previous rambling. I am truly sorry again for disappointing all of you, my readers and supporters.

To my patrons: thank you so much for helping me afford decent meals. Please believe that I will use your money as best I can for useful things. Although, my current wish is to save up for a decent phone—something in the $300-$350 range that might last me the next 2-3 years. I desperately need a new one; the phone I'm using right now is ancient. Just imagine, it only has 4GB of RAM and 16GB of storage... hahaha.

I will resume uploading the newest chapters starting on the 11th, so please look forward to it, as I will catch up on all the chapters I missed.

Oh, and by the way, if you notice the translation quality declining significantly, please inform me which chapters are affected—specifically the chapter range (e.g., from Chapter X to Chapter Y). I did a mass release previously, so I wasn't aware at the time that the quality of some chapters was extremely poor.

It would be best if you notified me in the 'Reviews' section; I am much more likely to read it there since it stands out more. If you don't let me know, I will struggle to identify these problematic chapters, and it will become far more troublesome if I have to re-upload all the chapters later.

If you wish to support me so I can continue to survive and afford proper food, you can join my membership on Patreon [patreon.com/InorinTL]. There are still many limited slots available for "The Founding Pillars" tier, so please join before those slots run out. Besides membership, you can also donate via Ko-Fi [https://ko-fi.com/inorintl].

I hope I am still worthy of your support. My life truly depends on this... haha, I know I'm so shameless.
