He staggered in the old down, slashes all over his body. He limped as he held his abdomen. Nothing but a torn piece of pyjamas on his body, as he saw ahead, they had finally caught up to him. The people clad in dark green capelat and jeans. As that man lowered the green fur on his head, that injured man growled in agony. With a malicious grin on his face, he started to fly with his hands raised up towards the skies.
"Prehster Lapilus"
That man with short black hair, a long forhead and a sharp yet fresh scar across his lips said, as a giant whirlwind tornado birthed from his hand.
As he threw that tornado onto him, That injured man with all the little strength he had left, created sharp wind blade.
"Vacuum Blade!"
He shouted with all his might.
As the other person in Drak green Capelat saw that, they got shocked.
"How could he so much strength left with so much injuries"
They must've thought to themselves, as they pushed their hands forward into a diamond like shape.
"Krustallos"
They said. As Ice crytals shot from their hands.
As their Hood came down revealing their long silver hair and green eyes. That injured man's eyes widened for a moment.
Those vacuum blades that he shot were so strong that they cut through that strong tornado and even those ice crystals. Yet that injured man was so low that as he saw those long silver hair and those stary green eyes. A screech, painful enough to draw blood from his eyes and ears, started in his head. So he sat down, pulling his hairs down vehemently, as he screamed his lungs out.
That flying man slowly landed and walked with an air blade in his hands.
"Wait Xyrock!!"
That woman with silver hair said.
As Xyrock stopped and looked back, The woman ran towards that injured man, who had lost consciousness and now was lying down on the ground.
"Do you know that man, Heather?"
He said as he was shocked to see hold that man in his arms.
"Yes... He is.... He is the man i told you about!! He is Steve!! Xyrock!!"
She said in utter ecstasy as tears wildly ran down her cheeks.
Xyrock smiled softly as he got to see the smile of the woman he loved for the rarest of times.
They took Steve back to thier base.
After five days, Steve opened his eyes in a warm and soft futon. He saw his arms completely patched, and the burn mark at his abdomen completely healed. As he sat up, his eyes uncontrollably went to his right. The place he would usually find Jessica. Yet no one was there.
He ached as got up.
Then suddenly the door to the room in which he layed opened as a not so tall girl with straight and fuzzy brown hair entered the room.
"Are you the one who brought me here?"
Steve said as he tried to get up.
That girl got flustered as he said that.
"Uhh... N-no... Ummm... Yess... I-it was uss..."
She spoke in low voice.
"Is that so? Thank you then!"
He said as put his head down on the pillow.
"U-Umm.. A-are you f...feeling better?"
She said.
"Yeah.. Its just a headache. I dont know who you guys are but, please just let me crash here abit more."
He said as he layed down facing away from that woman and closed his eyes.
"Uhh... Yes.. I-I'll g-goo outside!"
She said as she went back outside.
As the door closed, Steve opened his eyes again.
"Is Steve awake?"
He heard someone talk in a delighted manner outisde the door.
Then suddenly the door opened again.
Yet the woman who came in this time wasn't so shy. As she walked directly above Steve's futon and sat down beside him.
As Steve looked at her he got shocked.
"Heather?"
He said as a bright smile appeared on his face.
As he sat up Heather hugged him tightly. As Xyrock came inside the room aswell.
"Xyrock come here!"
Heather said as she saw Xyrock.
Steve watched a short haired man. Yet as he saw that slash on his lip a layer of pain started in his head again. Yet he smiled and greeted Xyrock formally.
After which that shy girl came inside the room again. This time with a bowl of soup, beans and rice and bread in her hands.
A sudden smile appeared on his face as that woman put the food down.
"Thank you!".
Steve said to her.
"Uhh n...no it's... It's alright!!"
She replied as she went back outside.
As Steve began to eat, Heather introduced Xyrock, Lisa — the shy girl, along with other people like Hibino, Sadem, Hohenhiem and Guillia, collectively called the Pacedillos. She said that after she along with Vicky, Maria, Jared and Bosch were kidnapped she somehow broke free and ran away. Yet when she asked about the other members, Steve suddenly went quiet.
Everyone in the room, Stared at him, waiting for his reply.
"Heather, My memory, I dont have any memory from the day i came here!"
He said with a pale face.
As they heard that. As Heather heard that, everyone got shocked.
"You dont have any memory?"
Xyrock asked.
"As i said, Yes!"
Steve replied.
The whole Pacedillos looked at eachother. Steve was confused as he was only one who didn't know what was going on.
"What happened?"
He asked he put his hand on top of Heather's.
Just then, the only member who was out came inside the room. The color of his hair was so brightly Golden that it dazzled into the eyes of Steve.
"So it happened to you too huh?"
That man said.
"Speak direclty! Franz!"
Guillia, a short red haired woman said, as she continued to suck her lollipop.
"Oh then why dont you speak direclty Guillia?"
He replied.
"Now now, Lets not fight amongst Ourselves, Hibino!"
A man with squared shape head, and glasses, said in a calm voice.
"Yeah you better speak in between Hohenhiem! Or you never know what might happen!"
Hibino said as he glared down at Guillia.
"Please! Do not fight over me!"
Steve suddenly pleaded.
As Hibino saw Steve pleading with his demeaning gaze,
"I have a lead on The Chiroi!"
He said as left the room.
"Hey Steve, Dont take him seriously! He has just got his hands full right now!"
A sky blue, spiky haired man said.
"You just rest up and get better my friend!"
He said, as he had a smile on his face.
"Thank you very much, i will never reoly your kindness!"
Steve said.
"Hey now! You're makimg me blush mann!!"
Sadem replied.
After two days of resting more, Steve was finally able to move on his own. He was doing pushups in that room when the golden beauty, Hibino entered his room.
"Oh so you are able to move now are you?
He inquired.
"Yes pretty much! It's all thanks to you guys!"
He replied as he finished a set.
"Hmph... Well now that your drama has settled with, why dont you tell me what your purpose is already."
Hibino said in a ravaged tone.
"What... What do you mean?"
Steve asked.
Hibino glared down at Steve as he crouched dwon near him.
"Stop the act! No one faze off its effects this early!"
"I dont know what you are talking about. But I too would like to know better what happened to me!"
Steve pleaded.
"Hmph.... Its a curse that got you! Figure it out on your own!"
He said as he walked out of the door and loudly closed it.
Steve sat there in completely confusion as he left.
After some time, As Steve opened his patches sitting on his futon, someone knocked at his door.
"Come in".
He said.
As that short brown haired girl came inside, Steve ws shocked.
"Oh Lisa... What is it?"
Steve inquired.
It was the first time that Lisa had seen Steve without his patches so she got flustered. The bare marks of slashes om his abs, Chest and shoulders.
"Uhh...I-i Just came to check up on youu!"
She softly said.
"Oh... I am fine now."
He replied as he continued to remove the patches.
"Is there something down there?"
Steve suddenly asked.
"Huh?... Nooo"
She replied.
"Oh its just that you keep staring down at that piece of plank!"
He said as he laughed.
"Ohh.. It's... It's just umm.... Hard...to look at you.. Uhhhh it's nothing! Haha!"
She muttered.
Steve laughed as she did. He laughed so hard that tears started to come down. Yet as he did, Lisa looked at his face, his scarred body and his hair for the first time.
"You dont have to be so formal yknow! If anything i should be the one who thanks you guys!"
He said as he got up and put on a sweater.
Heather watched all that from a corner with a weird smile on her face.
"Ahhemm!! I am not interrupting am i?"
She finally spoke.
"Oh Heather! I was just about to call you!"
Steve said.
"Yeah, What is it?"
She asked.
"Heather, I.... I am leaving!"
He said. Yet as Heather said that, her ecstatic expressions changed. Her pupils suddenly widened and as her forehead frowned.
"I have to get to know what happened to me or how i lost my memories. How the hell i was that injured or just what kind of a monster i became or fought that gave me such injuries. Most of all, I have to find the Phantom Troop!"
He explained.
Steve expected that Heather would try to stop him, yet he was determined enough to leave.
"Umm... May we come along with you aswell?"
This suggestion, completely out of records of Steve's library, shocked Steve.
"Heh.. Lisa why would you?"
Steve replied in utter shock.
"Yes! That's decided, we are coming with you Steve!"
Heather affirmed.
In the end, Xyrock went ahead with the three aswell, as he couldn't stomach the thought of Heather being alone and in danger and him not being there.
After several hours of walk, amd at the dawn of the next day, The very day Riley and Anastasia entered Fosch Bevite's Biscow city. Steve and his company reached the Market street of Durdenhiem.
Yet as theu walked further and further into theose places, the toll on Steve's head increased with his increasing headache.
Soon enough, walking in that abandoned street, The four finally saw that giant sinkhole.
With utter shock and bargain on his face, he levitated. As fragments of his memories suddenly attacked his heavy head. Aching, he lamded into that rubble of the broken inn.
Heather accompanied him as Xyrock and Lisa carefully analysed tthat sinkhole.
"Someone must've evolved here!"
Xyrock said.
Then suddenly, they heard Heather's scream. Both of them rushed as they panicked. As they landed into that rubble. Xyrock rushed to Heather.
"What happened?"
He shouted.
As he saw Heather sitting down in that rubble, in his lap was an unconscious Steve, who was bleeding from his nose and eyes again.
