A scream fell out of my lips when the room filled with smoke, I held on to the gun and I rushed out of the bed, my back ached with pain as I stood beside what I thought was the door and I headed toward the other side of the room.
"Luca," I whispered and I didn't hear anything, I could not see her anymore, I didn't even see anything apart from the smoke, I pushed open a door and I walked in when I turned on the lights, I realized I was in the bathroom.
I felt a wave of relief and happiness wash her me when I settled on the ground, I didn't care if it was dirty, I didn't care if it was disgusting, I didn't want to stand anymore, my back rested on the door, even though it was locked, I was scared, my heart skipped a beat.
