It's been a week since Ethan arrived at the prison. Every criminal in there fears him since he is the number one hero.
Even when he was about to be picked on by a large group of them, he just kicked them all to the ground.
One day, he was bored, with nothing to do but sit on the hard bed, staring at his hands as he created shapes using his powers.
After a long stare session with the wall… he decided… it was time to get out of here and go back home… I wonder where Ghost King is?
He got up and looked around; the walls were brownish yellow, the bars looked rusted… The more he looked, the more disgusting the place looked.
He walked to the bars… Staring at them, he can do this in two ways: the loud way, where he bursts out like a boss… or the quiet way, where he just walks past the guards.
He didn't know which to choose but just chose to sneak, so a hand-shaped tentacle stretched from his back to the other side of the bars.
Then the tentacle changed shape to a key and slid into the keyhole; the tentacle fumbled inside the hole for a few seconds before a tick sound was heard.
Ethan pushed the bars to the side before walking through and closing it behind him and locking it.
Ethan walked down the corridor… It was empty, and the walls had cells after cells; noise can be heard as they yell, fight, and talk.
One of them noticed Ethan and began yelling at him, trying to snitch.
Snitch: "He escaped! The electric slayer is escaping."
Immediately the noise quieted down, and everyone looked at Ethan before the guard ran down the corridor towards Ethan, but before the guard noticed, Ethan used his powers to turn himself "invisible."
The guard looked around and saw no sign of Ethan. The snitch kept yelling about where Ethan is, but the guard hit his baton on the cell bars.
Guard: "Shut it, idiot! You just wasted my time…"
The guard walked away towards where he came from, Ethan removed the "invisibility" and stuck his tongue out at the snitch.
Ethan walked down the corridors, almost bumping into guards, but he managed to dodge them by teleporting (moving fast).
He reached a wooden door… probably an office. So he opened the door slightly, just enough to see inside, and there were… no guards, just computers with security camera feeds of the prison.
Ethan walked in; looking at the monitors, he scanned through them, planning how he's going to escape, and this is what he came up with…
1- Go to the office and figure out where they keep my stuff and get it.
2-Go down the corridor until I reach the cafeteria.
3-Leave the cafeteria towards the field.
4-From there I use my speed to launch myself out of the prison into the sky and escape.
Ethan slowed down time and appeared in the warden's office. The warden looked at him before he disappeared. The warden rubbed his eyes and yelled into the intercom.
Warden: "Check the electric slayer's cell!!"
Ethan went towards the warden and went behind his ear and whispered to plant an idea into his head.
Ethan: "I should make the guards check on his stuff to make sure he didn't steal them back."
The warden immediately yelled into the intercom.
Warden: "And check on his belongings!"
All according to plan… He left the office while still invisible, then he saw a group of guards running back to where his cell is and another group running somewhere else, so he decided to follow.
And so he followed them until they reached a big vault; they opened the vault by entering a password and entered, with Ethan following closely.
Guard 1: "Vault clear."
They opened a drawer labeled "213," and in it was Ethan's stuff.
Guard 2: "The stuff is all here."
They then walked out of the vault and closed it, and Ethan was still in there; he opened the drawer and took out his stuff and changed into his suit.
Then he put his hand on the vault door, electricity flowing into the mechanism and short-circuiting it to open.
He then went with the rest of the plan and left; guards were still all over the place, but Ethan snuck past them.
