At a futuristic universe us humans learned how to use magic while advancing our technology but having no full understanding of magic the humans accidentally opened a portal. at first the portal seemed harmless but when the humans tried to explore it a bunch of monsters appeared from it. the humans named them the terranians. Of course the humans, sensing danger send an immediate counter attack but this was one of humanities greatest mistake causing one of the most deadliest wars in history killing almost 1 billion people.
The countries being devastated joined forces to try and close the portal but they weren't successful at doing it until one of the humans suggested to open a portal to study it the world leaders having no more choice decided to go with it but what arised from the portal was humans but they weren't, they had wings like a dragon so the humans decided to name them dragonians and with they're knowledge about portals they succeeded to close it but because it took so long a lot of terranians got stuck in the overworlrd ranging from wall level to city level threats so the nation's joined forces and devise a plan and that plan was to run a tournament every 10 years to try and find strong people while also giving them everything they could ever wish for just for them to protect the city.
Now fast forward to the present a boy named Takeshi decided to join this so called tournament to fulfill a promise with a girl he made 10 years ago.
It was early in the morning and I finally made it to the city. I was honestly amazed on how much this city has changed over the years like there's more flying objects more guards roaming around and a lot of tall buildings and the feel of this city seemed so futuristic.
Before doing anything I decided to visit an old home just to find out that it was no longer there an old men then told me that the ones living there has moved to the castle a long time ago.
Feeling a bit disappointed I decided to eat on a small restaurant the restaurant that I used to eat on when I was a kid and I can tell the way they cooked this was still the same and I'm glad for it.
After eating i decided to go to the kingdom to ask the registrant so i can join the tournament after that I think a little about the girl I made a promise with what if she didn't fullfill her promise? what if she forgot? does she even remember me? But I setted those aside because the tournament to start and so far the early contestants felt like a joke I mean some of them were good but they didn't even gave me a challenge but there is this one mysterious girl and she reminds me of that girl but most importantly she's going though her enemy's like it's nothing but not for long because her next opponent is tsuki she's a dragonian and seeing her fight honestly impresses me but before that I have to fight Akane my childhood friend and I guess she doesn't recognize me because she's looking at me like I'm an intimidating enemy.
"Ok everyone the battle between Akane and Takeshi is starting now!!!"
"Takeshi? Wait isn't that.... No I have to focus"
3.... 2.... 1....
I guess she doesn't waste time because she activated some special form on her suit quickly after that she started using her sword to try and slice me but I just dodge it she then send some flying objects that shoots missle and laser but I just blocked it all using some magic circle the flying objects continued to attack but it switched to strong sound waves to knock me back while the machines did the work Akane charges up her suit to attack super quickly and not gonna lie shes pretty fast but sometimes magic wins over technology so when I saw the moment I took her sword and pointed it at her but trying to took it injured my arm but with one move i did won the battle.
"Ehem what is the name of that guy?"
"Oh miss Yumi well the name of that guy is Takeshi"
"Takeshi huh? Interesting he definitely reminds me of him."
"Miss Yumi your up there next"
I guess my opponent is this dragon Princess huh? Hope she's strong because everyone that I fought so far are really weak
"Ok ladies and gentlemen the battle between the Princess of dragonian and Yumi kyoryoku is now starting anyway count it with me."
3.... 2.... 1....
Wow she's pretty fast I guess this battle won't boring huh anyway I swinged some spear towards her but she just keeps parrying it but I took the opportunity and try to attack her but some white creatures suddenly punch me really hard it definitely caught me off guard but what's rage inducing here is when I try to attack her the White creatures stops me but I guess this girl doesn't know the ability of my blood and what is it you might think we'll it's to destroy magic and using that to my advantage the White creatures couldn't revive tsuki then tried to instantly fight but with a bit more struggle I managed to beat her but thinking that I won I letter my guard down letting her stab one of my arm and of course I instantly fought back and with that she lose but I guess that sword is special because my body is having a hard time regenerating it.
"I guess I founded her huh?"
Anyway before our big fight I decided to ask for a bigger stadium but I guess she has the same idea as me and with that I'm really looking forward for that fight.
