Chapter 54 - Chapter 54 – Raimei Hakke Erupts at the Pinnacle of the Battlefield!

Sabaody Archipelago – Live Broadcast, Central Plaza

On the giant screen, three live feeds suddenly converged on the same figure—

It was the moment, just one minute ago, when the Straw Hat Luffy obliterated a Marine Headquarters Vice Admiral in a single strike.

A stunned silence stretched on, heavy and unbroken.

"No way, no way—this has to be fake! That's impossible!"

A reporter's eyes bulged, jaw slack, face etched with shock and disbelief.

"That kid—Straw Hat Luffy—took out a Marine Headquarters Vice Admiral in one hit!"

"This… no matter how you look at it, it's just too absurd!"

"I know Vice Admiral Dalmatian—he's the real deal!"

"A long-serving Marine Vice Admiral, beaten like that… and by a boy under twenty?"

"He's only seventeen! What kind of monster is he?"

"Unbelievable! Even veteran Vice Admirals are being one-shotted. Don't tell me that kid's already at Yonko level—like Whitebeard's one-shot kill of that giant Vice Admiral!"

"Are you insane? A seventeen-year-old Emperor of the Sea? How could that even happen?!"

All across the plaza, civilians gaped and muttered in awe and disbelief, their voices overlapping in a cacophony of astonishment.

The journalists, initially dismissive of Luffy and his crew, were now jostling each other to take photos and write notes—face-saving be damned. This was world-shaking news, and everyone wanted to be first to break it.

---

Meanwhile, in the plaza's upper tiers—among the Supernovas:

"Has that Straw Hat kid been hiding his true strength all along? Ten days ago, he was wiped out by an Admiral… and now he can one-shot a core Vice Admiral?"

Capone Bege's eyes twitched as he spoke, unable to hide his astonishment.

"Human strength has limits. No one gets that strong in ten days—maybe in twenty years, sure."

The Mad Monk Urouge folded his arms, skeptical.

"This is just like Kid and Killer… something about them has changed beyond words."

X Drake's tone was serious.

"No… it's not that they've changed—it's a different Straw Hat entirely."

Jewelry Bonney's gaze was sharp, her lips curling slightly.

She'd seen enough. The Luffy on the battlefield now wasn't the same one who had been crushed ten days ago.

But from where had this other Luffy come?

The thought crossed her mind—Could he be from the future?

She quickly shook her head at her own absurdity.

Marineford – The Summit War

With Dalmatian's crushing defeat, the Marines had no choice but to focus their full attention on Luffy's group.

Vice Admirals Momonga, Onigumo, and Strawberry disengaged from their respective fights with Whitebeard's commanders and moved in on Luffy, intent on testing the so-called Fifth Emperor themselves.

Naturally, the Straw Hats weren't about to stand idly by.

The first to step forward were two tall young women—both Yamato.

Whether from two years in the future or two years in the past, both Yamatos were instantly captivated by the grandeur of Marineford and the sight of their friend Ace in chains atop the execution platform.

Their fighting spirit ignited.

Two identical figures strode into the fray, drawing every eye. Marines and pirates alike were struck speechless.

Who are those twins?

Neither faction recognized them—not surprising, as Yamato had been imprisoned in Onigashima by her father, Kaidō, for eighteen years. Only the Straw Hats and one other person knew the truth—Ace.

When he spotted them, Ace's mind reeled. Two Yamatos?! No, that's not the point—why are they here?!

---

Back on the ice,

Sengoku's gaze narrowed. These two weren't in any Marine records—mystery combatants. Without a word from him, the three Vice Admirals exchanged glances, and Strawberry stepped forward, twin sabers drawn.

Even though his opponents were young women, he didn't dare underestimate them. From this close, their monstrous aura was undeniable.

"Leave it to me!"

Future Yamato advanced casually, drawing her jet-black kanabo, Takeru.

CRACK!

The ice shattered under Strawberry's feet as he vanished, reappearing as a blur, blades slashing down. Yamato didn't dodge—she met him head-on.

Shockwaves blasted across the battlefield, forcing nearby fighters like Smoker to retreat.

"She's strong!"

Strawberry was impressed—and unnerved. Despite their even exchange, she hadn't attacked yet, only countered.

Then she struck. With a powerful leap back, Yamato gripped her kanabo, Busoshoku Haki crackling along her arms.

"Matoeru!!!"

From ten meters away, she swung—

A blinding wave of force tore the ice apart, hurtling toward Strawberry.

Sensing mortal danger, he crossed his sabers, Haki surging, and braced himself.

BOOM!

The impact tore a crater dozens of meters wide. Strawberry slid back thirty meters, boots gouging deep trenches before he stopped, panting heavily.

"Finally blocked it!"

The Marines watching barely had time to breathe before Momonga and Onigumo shouted:

"Strawberry—watch out!!!"

Too late. Yamato was already in motion, accelerating with terrifying speed.

"Shinsoku—Hakujaku!!!"

Lightning-red energy danced along her weapon as she brought it down in a full-force strike.

"Raimei Hakke!!!"

The impact was cataclysmic. Strawberry's blades shattered—then his skull, as the blow sent him hurtling into the plaza wall, buried deep like Dalmatian before him.

The second veteran Vice Admiral had fallen.

---

The battlefield erupted in shouts:

"Vice Admiral Strawberry!!!"

"How could this happen?!"

"Who is that giant woman with Luffy?!"

Even Whitebeard's men were shocked.

Marco's eyes widened.

Jozu frowned.

Whitebeard laughed knowingly—he'd guessed her identity.

Among the Shichibukai, Doflamingo chuckled darkly.

Moria raged, haunted by Kaidō's Raimei Hakke from decades past.

Boa Hancock seethed at the sight of two unfamiliar women at Luffy's side.

On the execution platform, Sengoku's teeth ground together.

Another Haōshoku: Matoeru user?!

Such mastery was rare even among the Yonko—yet here stood possibly three users beside Luffy.

Garp spoke up quietly:

"Sengoku… that girl's move—it's just like Kaidō's."

Sengoku's eyes narrowed further.

"Kaidō? Why would a Beast Pirate be with Luffy? I've never heard of such a hidden powerhouse in their ranks!"

He stared down at Yamato, who suddenly lifted her head, meeting his gaze without flinching.

With a heavy stomp that cracked the ice, she declared proudly for all the world to hear:

"My name is Kozuki Oden—also known as Yamato!!!"
