Near Mangrove No. 21...
Mangrove No. 24, inside a tavern.
"Captain Bonney! Something's happened! There's trouble in the plaza!"
A muscular pirate in overalls burst in, shouting urgently.
"Has the war already started?"
Jewelry Bonney asked, lifting a slice of pizza to her mouth.
"No, not yet! The war hasn't begun, but we've received word—over in the plaza, Kid and Killer suddenly went berserk and nearly beat Roar of the Sea Scratchmen Apoo and Magician Hawkins to death!"
"It's even crazier—those two, Kid and Killer, it's like they're on some kind of drug! Their strength has skyrocketed! They crushed Apoo and Hawkins like it was nothing. It was a complete massacre!"
The pirate was visibly shaken.
"Huh…?"
Bonney's face twisted in surprise.
Sure, there were differences in strength among the Supernovas—but to crush them like that? That shouldn't even be possible...
Before she could say more—
BOOM!!
An explosive rumble shook Mangrove No. 24.
Bonney quickly grabbed a telescope and looked through the rising dust and debris.
In the ruins of a nearby bar...
Kid was fighting Kid?!
Before she could make sense of it—
"Captain Bonney! Over there!"
Another pirate pointed in a different direction, eyes wide.
"Today's cursed, I swear—why are there two Trafalgar Laws?!"
---
On the Streets of Mangrove No. 24...
"Captain! You wouldn't believe it if you saw it yourself! Kid and Killer... it was like they were hacked—buffed beyond belief! Totally different from just a few days ago!"
"Yeah! They completely wrecked Apoo and Hawkins—barely even broke a sweat!"
"I'm telling you, the same Kid who gave us hell a while ago fighting that cyborg Kuma? That Kid could probably solo him now!"
"No idea what they went through, but it's not normal!"
Several members of the Heart Pirates animatedly described the shocking scene to their captain, Trafalgar Law.
Even the usually composed Surgeon of Death couldn't help but frown in disbelief.
He knew Kid's strength well—he was powerful, yes—but not to the point of crushing other Supernovas.
Something didn't add up.
Had something happened to them?
Or maybe… they weren't the real Kid and Killer?
Law quietly rubbed his elbow, lost in thought.
Suddenly—
A powerful aura surged from a nearby alley, drawing the Heart Pirates' attention.
"Who's there?"
Law narrowed his eyes.
Everyone turned toward the source.
Emerging from the alley were—
Two figures.
It was another Law and another Bepo, walking out casually.
For a moment, silence reigned.
Then—
"WHAAAAAT?!"
The Heart Pirates exploded into chaos.
"That's... that's Captain Law and Bepo?!"
"There's another Captain Law and Bepo?!"
"What the hell is going on?!"
"Why are there two Laws?!"
Shachi, Penguin, Jean Bart—all of them stared back and forth between the two Laws and two Bepos in complete shock.
"EVERYONE, CALM DOWN!!"
The two years ago Law barked, though his face betrayed his confusion.
"Don't fall for enemy illusions or tricks!"
He took a deep breath. His mind raced.
If the Marines could mass-produce cyborgs like Tyrant Kuma, it wasn't far-fetched they might do the same with people...
Clones? Cyborg copies?
Maybe he had been replicated too.
But—
"Oi, don't tell me you think I'm a Marine-made robot or something,"
said the older Law with a dry expression.
"…Isn't that possible?"
the younger Law shot back.
"You really think so?!"
Before things escalated, the other Bepo interrupted.
"No no, we're not robots! We're really from two years in the future!"
Another wave of silence.
"…WHAT?!"
"Two years in the future?!"
"You're telling me you time-traveled?!"
"That's insane!"
The crew was stunned, still holding onto doubt.
"I didn't believe it either before we came back," older Bepo shrugged. "But here we are."
Then, almost casually, he started revealing embarrassing details about the crew—things only someone very close would know.
And just like that, most of the crew began to believe.
No one else could've known those secrets.
---
"You really are me from the future?"
The two years ago Bepo stepped forward, eyes sparkling. "Am I… stronger?"
"Of course! Two years later, I'm the vice-captain of the Heart Pirates!"
Older Bepo stood proudly, hands behind his back.
With this time-travel mission, only Kid and Law had come from the future… and Killer too.
Kid and Law were captains.
Killer was Kid's second-in-command.
Naturally, Bepo had come as Law's right-hand man.
It was perfectly logical, in his mind.
"You hear that?! I'm vice-captain in the future!!"
Younger Bepo shouted excitedly.
"Is that… true?"
Penguin, wearing his penguin cap, turned to the older Bepo suspiciously.
Shachi, Penguin, and the others also stared.
Bepo's smile faltered a bit, nervous under their gaze.
Two years later…
He was still Bepo.
Not much had changed.
Vice-captain? Really?
They didn't buy it.
"Future Captain Law, is that true? Is Bepo really your vice-captain?"
Penguin finally asked.
"Captain, please… back me up here…"
Bepo whispered desperately.
But future Law ignored him completely.
From start to finish, his gaze remained locked on his past self.
"You seem… skeptical."
"Of course I am!"
"Then let's settle this," the older Law said, smiling.
"Fine by me."
The younger Law raised his right hand.
"ROOM."
At the same time, future Law also raised his hand.
"ROOM."
Two overlapping blue spheres of energy expanded outward, clashing, grinding, then merging into one giant operating field.
"…No way."
The younger Law's pupils shrank in shock.
His spatial powers—completely overpowered.
The other Law was also a user of the Ope Ope no Mi, the same Surgical Fruit.
But his control, his strength—it was on another level.
And then...
CLANG!
Blades clashed.
The two Laws, both masters of the same fruit, fought fiercely.
But after just three minutes—
"I lost," the younger Law said with a calm smile.
He accepted defeat without hesitation.
And more importantly—he now believed.
"This whole incident in the plaza earlier...
It was future Kid and Killer who took out Apoo and Hawkins, wasn't it?"
"Correct," future Law nodded.
"So... who else came with you?"
"Straw Hat Luffy and his crew."
"One last question," the younger Law asked, his eyes shining.
"In the future... did you get revenge for Corazon?"
A quiet moment passed.
Future Law nodded slowly.
But then, with a small smile, he added—
"Still… it was Straw Hat who delivered the final blow to Doflamingo.
This time, with a second chance, I want to finish it myself.
What do you say? Want to join me?"
The two years ago Law's eyes gleamed.
"So... this is the great war at Marineford, huh?
Then let me see it with my own eyes."
And with that, the two Laws clasped hands—future and past, now aligned.
