Leah's mood bar now included the word "jealousy," and Luis instantly realized his success. Occasional provocation was truly effective.
"Disgusting, why kiss here?"
"My wife, I can kiss however I want. Wife, go change clothes first, we're having hotpot tonight."
Lily giggled and went upstairs. Luis sat in the living room and lit a cigarette. Avery plopped down beside him and said to Leah, "Bunny, your brother in law isn't what you described at all."
"What nonsense are you spouting now?"
Leah panicked and rushed to stop her, but Luis suddenly wrapped his arms around her waist, preventing her from struggling. Luis teased with a smirk, "Avery, what did this little girl say about me?"
Leah was instantly flustered. Not only did she realize how intimate this posture was, but she also ended up sprawled over Luis's lap, reaching for Avery:
"Shut up, you gossip! If you dare say it, I'll tear your mouth apart!"
