Chapter 26 - Adventure Journey (4)

"Whoosh, whoosh," I followed Water Elara, who, while running in panic, glanced back stealthily. Oh my!

Two huge nostrils, right above his head! The nostrils look like two large brown tadpoles with their tails joined together. From the tadpole-like nostrils, fiery red flames are constantly spurting out, closely following the water Elara as if they were about to burn her little bottom.

Kellen, after all, runs fast. Every time the fire approaches Water Elara, Kellen can always nimbly dodge and help Elara avoid it.

"Kellen! Hurry up! I'm so scared!" Water Elara's astonished little face was already drenched in cold sweat.

Kellen, in a panic, led Elara into the depths of the woods. The branches, leaves and weeds in front of her "whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh. All that could be felt was the violent "pupu" tremor behind!

"Whoosh!" The branches and weeds behind seemed to have been charred.

"Kellen! Quick!" The water Elara was so frightened that she couldn't feel the tremors in the soles of her feet at all. She grabbed Kellen's little hand tightly and ran wildly. Between the two eyes, it was no longer clear whether it was foliage or grass, only green light, only green light!

Kellen had no time to look and had already guessed that behind her was a huge horned horned dragon beast, which had no psychic spirit but only fire blood!

Fire blood is the source of life for the rhinoceros Horned beast. But it's terrifying for any animal or plant other than the rhinoceros Horned beast! It is like the fire venom flowing from the Fire pus, and wherever it flows unrestrainedly, it will instantly turn to ashes! The intensity of the fire attribute is like that of a celestial fire!

What's puzzling is that this beast has almost zero intelligence! On ordinary days, it likes to hunt in groups, but only around the Chishui Abyss, it can be said that it maintains a "peaceful" Chishui Abyss. As a fiery beast, it is naturally irritable and quick-tempered. Once faced with those intolerable threats or provocations, it is a desperate pursuit! Hunt! Only hunt! You won't stop until you trample the enemy.

Kellen knew how serious the consequences of being hunted down by such a group of mindless behemoth were! Either severely burned or permanently disabled!

But the feeling, you can imagine, is far more painful, more agonizing, more terrifying than death!

In a panic, Kellen saw a tiny black hole. Because of the swift movement, her eyes flickered and she could see it vaguely as if it were a black hole. Not daring to think too much, I pulled Elara and charged into the black hole. It was only a moment before the two little guys got into the hole.

"Sasa," a sound, and a pair of blinding, pale light had already been cast towards Kellen and water Elara. Kellen quickly pushed her body forward and whispered to Water Elara, "Oh no, this time we've run into the giant centipede!"

No sooner had Kellen finished speaking than six or seven pairs of blinding white beams of light were projected.

Kellen went on, "It looks like a big den of poison!"

As soon as she heard it was a giant venomous centipede, Water Elara couldn't help pulling Kellen's little arm back and whispered, "What about this time?"

Kellen watched the pairs of white, shiny light slowly approaching and unconsciously retreated towards the entrance of the cave, whispering to Elara as she retreated, "Hold me tight, run!"

As soon as the word "run" was shouted, pairs of pale lights followed the footsteps of the two little ones and "rustled" out of the entrance.

Two tiny, ant-like figures flashed out of the black hole's mouth in a flash, one pair after another, with their large pupils, red and purple. Passing through the giant legs and claws as thick as oaks of the rhinoceros, they emerged from beneath the colossal bodies.

In terror, Water Elara clung tightly to Kellen's little hand, staring intently at the back of Kellen's head, running and running! This time, he had run for less than a quarter of an hour, panting, when Kellen suddenly grabbed Water Elara and quietly hid behind a towering pine.

While Elara was in a panic, she quickly quieted down. Because the big tree, which was hiding, was too close to those huge creatures! The water Elara did not dare to breathe for fear of being discovered by the beast or the giant venom centipede not far away. Once discovered, the consequences can be imagined.

Either poisoned by a giant centipede or burned to death by a rhinoceros beetle, anyway, the outcome was more or less.

Water Elara gently leaned close to Kellen's ear, keeping a high alert, staring fixedly at the group of monsters, whispering in Kellen's ear, "Why don't you run away? It's dangerous here!"

Kellen stretched out her index finger, "SHH!"

Then she leaned close to the water Elara and whispered, "Don't talk! We're saved! Stay here quietly. The show is about to begin! Look --"

A mass of thick white smoke gushed out of the hole, one after another, and in a short while, eight giant venomous centipedes stood out from the mass of thick white smoke! Suddenly, Water Elara felt her hair stand on end all over her body, and a chill was drawn up in her abdomen. Recalling that I had just entered the hole, fortunately Kellen reacted quickly, otherwise wouldn't that black hole have become an uninvited tomb of death?

Although the giant venomous centipede had risen high, its height was only on par with that of the rhinoceros. The thinness was far less than the huge body of the rhinoceros.

With a hissing sound, the eight upright giant venomous centipedes had their serrated teeth already open under their long black venomous whiskers. Wisps of white smoke, straight out, formed a white mist circle around the giant centipede. A group of fire-horned dragons took a big step backward in an instant, and the mountain forest trembled slightly and finally settled.

It seemed that the snares were wary of the white smoke, and the two little ones, who were watching intently, couldn't help but tighten their heartstrings.

"Aow! Aow!"

With a few whistles, the towering trees in the forest swayed with a roar. The huge head of the rhinoceros began to sway rhythmically from side to side. At first, it was just two or three of the largest of them, but after a quarter of an hour, the dozen or so behemoths shook their heads together, and their bodies began to sway slowly.

"What are they doing?" Water Elara, curious about the strange behavior of the group of monsters, whispered in Kellen's ear.

Kellen, too, dared not make a sound and whispered, "This is a ritual before they hunt their prey, indicating the need for all to act!"

"Oh --"

The giant venom centipede had seen through the collective purpose of the rhinoceros, its sharp steel claws crunching in the wind, shaking the mountains and forests, chilling the cold. Clumps of white smoke grew thicker and thicker, slowly spreading towards the surrounding giant beasts.

Suddenly, the Nose-fire Horned dragon took action! First, a particularly large rhinoceros, ran at full speed, followed by a dozen or so, closely circling around the eight giant venomous centipedes, spinning and running with earth-shaking force.

Intense flames followed the huge claws of the nose-fire horned dragon, burning fiercely. In an instant, huge rings of fire formed around the giant venomous centipede.

The blazing rings of fire grew stronger and stronger, as the snout fire-horned dragon stepped on the thick ridge, forming a circle of fire that was gradually sinking deep. The fire in the valley not only surrounded the dozen or so galloping rhinoceros, but also the eight giant venomous centipedes that were about to take on the rhinoceros were locked tightly in the center of the fire ring!
