"Perfect. Go right, I go left. When I say now, I want to see your shield in the air headed for me. Let's go!" Jace shouted as he dashed to the beast's left side while Kael dashed to the right.


With that single command, the duo launched into motion, their battered bodies still answering the call of battle. The ogre's grin remained plastered across its monstrous face as it casually hefted its massive hammer and sent it crashing through the air toward Kael.


"Tch!" Kael scoffed, a bead of sweat sliding down his face as he twisted his body, pivoting sharply to the side. The hammer swept past him with terrifying force, the air pressure alone enough to sting his skin. Meanwhile, Jace closed the distance, his blonde hair flying wildly as he leapt into the air, sword raised.
