This area seemed to be devoid of them, which meant he had to stop searching for them. In the end he decided to finally make his way to the core area.
This section of the region where he was right now is in the Jade Temptation Sect's territory. The inheritance site is also in their territory but it is in an area which is far from the sect and is basically unrestricted.
The core region isn't a small place, it was very vast so these sects were only able to control nearby territories, most of the area inside it was just wilderness.
Nonetheless, Jade Temptation Sect wouldn't have been able to restrict anyone either given the fact that other sects would have joined hands to force them not to do so.
This inheritance site was special in itself after all, only fated cultivators were allowed inside.
