Du Haoran stopped and retreated slightly.
"Finally.."
His opponent let out a small sigh of relief before taking out another array plate.
Du Haoran narrowed his eyes. He could tell that this array plate was even more powerful than the previous one. If his opponent managed to activate it, he might have no choice but to concede.
"Haah..."
Du Haoran tightened his grip on his saber and pushed against the arena with all his might, propelling himself forward at the greatest speed he could muster.
As he approached his opponent, he aimed his attack directly at the hand holding the array plate, intending to prevent him from activating it.
"You fell for it.."
Du Haoran heard his opponent's voice, but before he could react, he saw the array plate fall from one of his opponent's hands, only for a spear to appear in its place.
Du Haoran's eyes widened in shock, but it was already too late. The tip of the spear was mere inches from his throat.
