Ru Feng had a very irritated expressions on her face.
She did understand that the food stall might be some information network clan or a group, but her eagerness to find out about those people targeting Xuan made her irrational since the old man refused to answer, instead he told them to visit another place.

The Ru family was also a cultivation family from the East River City, which was a second-tier family, having less influence than the Sha family.

They closed in to subdue her. "You dare," She yelled as she backed off towards Ru Ning, without realizing that Ru Ning was holding something like a needle which she then penetrated on Ru Feng's back.

Ru Feng turned as her body became heavier. She couldn't feel her Qi and lost her balance, falling on Ru Ning who whispered with an apologetic tone.
"I'm sorry Feng, they found out everything and threatened me to bring you back or they'll force me to marry to their one of the old elder."
Ru Feng heard her but couldn't react as she lost consciousness.
Minutes later, Bai Hua reached the alleyway where Ru Feng headed earlier, but upon arriving, she found nothing, except the lingering auras of Ru Feng and a few other people.
Thanks to her lineage as the White Tiger, a divine beast bloodline, she was able to sense their aura, even after they had already left.
But a bad premonition already filled her heart, thinking of Xuan's reaction if something were to happen to Ru Feng.
