Chapter 35 - Returning To U.A

The class watched in awe, stunned silent at the sight of two Pyrrhas clashing against each other. Confusion spread across every face, the only difference between the two was that Tsutsumi's copy still wore his belt.

With a sharp motion, Tsutsumi hurled the bronze shield at Pyrrha, forcing her to raise her own in defense. The two shields collided with a metallic clang, the impact pushing her back while his shield rebounded into the air.

The fake Pyrrha surged forward, leaping up and stepping on the rebounded shield as if it were a springboard. Using it as a platform, he flipped his body and drove both boots into Pyrrha's face with a brutal dropkick.

Pyrrha tumbled across the ground but quickly rolled back to her feet, one hand on her cheek, the other gripping her weapon. Despite the hit, a grin tugged at her lips.

"Amazing… your semblance can even turn into a near-perfect copy of me." Her smirk widened. "What else can you do? Show me!"

Her fighting spirit ignited. Pyrrha charged again, her strikes faster, sharper, each blow testing Tsutsumi's mirrored form. He matched her step for step, their weapons clashing in a storm of sparks and steel.

But then, with a sudden leap back, Tsutsumi pulled out another card just as Pyrrha closed in.

"Build Up!"

Form Ride: Sparkling!

Two large circular plates snapped shut around his body, then opened with a hiss, releasing bursts of magenta and white bubbles. They fizzled in the air, sizzling like sparks, forcing Pyrrha to brace herself as the wave pushed her back.

When the steam cleared, Tsutsumi still wore her form, but now altered. Zig-zag white lines ran across the armor, the gauntlets had grown jagged edges, and a sharp, white horn jutted out from the headpiece. A corrupted reflection, close enough to fool the eye, yet distinct enough for the class to recognize which Pyrrha was real.

He stepped forward, and with every stomp, magenta and white bubbles popped beneath his boots, propelling him forward in sudden bursts of speed.

In an instant, he was on her. Sword swinging down, faster than before. Caught off guard, Pyrrha barely raised her shield. The impact sent sparks and bubbles flying; each bubble popped like a miniature blast, creating multiple shockwaves that rattled her defenses and threw her off balance.

Tsutsumi spun sharply, his boot sweeping in a wide arc. The spike on his ankle scraped across her guard, bursting another cluster of bubbles. The explosion of impacts detonated against her body, flinging her across the floor in a tumble.

Final Attack Ride: B-B-B-Build!

His voice boomed as he sprinted after her, feet blazing with sparkling bursts. He drove a brutal kick straight into her chest, bubbles detonating on impact. The blow sent the Invincible Girl crashing into the wall with a thunderous slam, her Aura meter flashing red in an instant.

Silence hung for a moment.

Match over.

Tsutsumi straightened, his armor flickering back to normal. Without ceremony, he walked over and offered Pyrrha a hand up.

...

Tsutsumi shrugged his jacket back on as he walked up the stairs beside Pyrrha.

"Hey," one student nudged his teammate, whispering. "Who is that guy?"

"I think… he's from Team TNPR?" the other replied, not sounding confident.

"No way! You mean the guy teamed with the Pyrrha Nikos? The Invincible Girl?! And he just beat her!?"

Voices rose quickly after that. Some students leaned in, whispering with wide eyes, while others forgot about subtlety altogether and just pointed and stared. Either way, their chatter was so loud it might as well have been shouted.

"Hey, Purple!" Yang's voice cut through the noise like a bell.

All eyes turned toward Tsutsumi and Pyrrha as they rejoined the group.

Nora practically bounced in place, grinning ear to ear.

Ruby looked the same, but her eyes carried a gleam of hunger, like she was bursting with a hundred questions.

Weiss was torn somewhere between impressed and critical, her expression struggling to settle.

Blake gave off her usual air of disinterest, though the way she avoided Tsutsumi's eyes betrayed her curiosity.

Ren stood calmly with his arms crossed, but the faint grin on his face was one of approval.

Yang's eyebrows shot so high they nearly disappeared into her bangs.

"Hm? What's with the look? Did someone die?" Tsutsumi asked, tilting his head as he noticed the stares.

Yang scratched the back of her neck. "So, uh… how do I put this? Has anyone ever told you that you have like… absolutely no chill whatsoever?"

Tsutsumi raised a brow. "Hmm… not the first time."

Yang gestured dramatically. "Dude, you shattered Cardin's bones, messed up his organs, and then, you kicked Pyrrha in the face! You're like… ice cold."

"Heh?" Tsutsumi smirked as he slid into his seat. "Looks like I've still got work to do if I wanna be… Weiss cold."

"Wow," Yang deadpanned. "That was awful. And here I thought I was bad at puns. Right, guys?"

But instead of groans, the group chuckled. Ruby and Blake both laughed, and even Tsutsumi's teammates joined in. Weiss flushed scarlet, sputtering at yet another abuse of her name.

"Nah," Ruby giggled. "That was actually pretty good!"

Blake even covered her mouth, trying, and failing to hide her amusement.

"E-Excuse me!" Weiss exclaimed. "I'd appreciate it if you stopped using my name as a pun!"

Yang groaned, throwing her hands up. "Traitors! He's just recycling my material! I've used that one before, and none of you laughed! Cut me some slack here! He's a faker, I'm the real deal!"

...

The week finally came to an end with the students finishing their internships and returning to U.A.

Tsutsumi walks calmly through U.A. front gate, with Jiro standing beside him, his hand holding a unique card that he didn't expect to get.

Kamen Ride: Eternal

This is actually a find from the world where he is a Phantom Thief, where his partner, Kaito Kid, is a Phantom Thief and Kamen Rider Eternal.

The Kamen Rider part was surprising, to say the least.

"Say, how was the internship at Mirko?" Jiro asks, walking calmly beside him.

"It's fine, she is just a bit irresponsible." Tsutsumi said casually, pocketing the card.

"Cool..." She nodded.

"How is Edgeshot?" He suddenly asks.

"He is cool, and I actually learn how to conceal my presence." She said casually, her finger twirling her longer bang.

Her gaze shifted from her own hair to Tsutsumi's slightly longer hair, reaching his shoulder.

"Hey, did your hair grow longer again? You should really get a haircut; otherwise, I'm afraid that people might mistake you for a girl." She joked, after all, Tsutsumi didn't look too muscular like Kirashima.

His body structure is lean, giving him more mobility. Tsutsumi didn't focus on strength since his base power could one day reach and surpass the power of Kuuga Ultimate.

Mixed with how he casually wears a girl's face and dress without a care, it really makes people wonder if he has no shame at all.

"I'll cut it later." Tsutsumi said casually, unlike everyone here who was out for their internship for around a week, while he has been gone for over two weeks, compared to his classmate, he is casually somewhat older now dude to his time travel.

As they reached their classroom, he could see that his classmate was already there.

Jiro walked over toward the other girls to hang out with them, while Tsutsumi sat down calmly beside Todoroki and Bakugo. The three just glanced at each other, nodded, giving each other a small greeting, and didn't say anything.

Bakugo leaned back on his seat, feet on the table. Todoroki sat calmly, eyes closed. Tsutsumi leans on his hand, sleeping. Due to Bakugo's impressive performance, fire-based Quirk, and much calmer demeanor during the Sports Festival.

Endeavor actually gave Bakugo an offer for an internship under him, so Bakugo and Todoroki actually spent an entire week working under Endeavor. They had somewhat of an understanding when working together, and both reluctantly respected each other for their strength, though neither of them was willing to admit it.

At the same time, both Midoriya and Ida glance at Tsutsumi, but they didn't know what to say after the Hero Killer incident.

...

"Alright, today you'll be reporting to All Might. He'll be conducting a practical test on the field," Aizawa announced after taking roll call.

The students shuffled off toward the changing rooms to suit up in their hero costumes.

"Hey, guys, forget about that, check this out. This is the legacy our seniors left us," Mineta said with way too much excitement, pointing at a small hole hidden behind a poster.

"A… hole?" Midoriya tilted his head, blinking in confusion.

"A hole that connects to the girls' changing room," Mineta said with a rat-like grin, already trembling with anticipation.

Before he could finish his pervy rant, a boot smashed into the side of his head. His tiny body went airborne, slammed into the wall, and left a spiderweb of cracks behind.

"Tch. Mineta, how could you destroy school property like that? Now I've gotta report to Aizawa to get that hole and the wall fixed," Tsutsumi sighed, wearing the fakest look of reluctant responsibility anyone had ever seen.

Everyone: "..."

The boys were speechless. Tsutsumi had literally punted Mineta into the wall, and now he was blaming him for the damage.

Are you even human at this point?

Still, no one dared to side with Mineta. Tsutsumi's personality was… let's just say "toxic" was the polite word for it. Showing support for the grape gremlin now was basically volunteering to be treated the exact same way.

Besides, they all knew why Tsutsumi reacted like that. Even if he and Jiro weren't technically a couple, the two acted like they were married. Only a complete loser would let another guy peep on "his girl" without doing anything.

Later, when Aizawa inspected the hole between the boys' and girls' changing rooms, and the fresh cracks courtesy of Mineta's body, he looked visibly annoyed. He knew Tsutsumi was the real culprit, but experience had already taught him that this Problem Child, although somewhat toxic, still has many good qualities. Pressing this issue would only end with headaches and potential PR disasters for both him and U.A.

So, with a tired sigh, he accepted Tsutsumi's story at face value.

All Might gathered the entirety of Class 1-A and led them to Field Gamma, a specialized training ground built for honing rescue skills.

The moment they arrived, the students couldn't help but gape at the sight before them. The field stretched wide, littered with heavy industrial materials, massive iron pipes, collapsed structures, and jagged obstacles, like a disaster zone frozen in time.

"Alright, everyone, welcome to Field Gamma!" All Might announced, his booming voice echoing across the training ground.

"This area was designed to train young heroes like you in rescue missions. It mimics real-world scenarios where you'll need to save people under harsh, unpredictable conditions."

"I see… but why here? Don't we already have the USJ for that?" Asui asked, tilting her head in confusion.

"An excellent question, young Asui!" All Might replied with a grin. "The USJ is indeed tailored to simulate disasters, earthquakes, floods, fires, and the like. But those large-scale incidents don't happen every day. What heroes encounter far more often are smaller-scale rescues. Places with no active disaster, but difficult layouts, industrial zones, collapsed structures, maze-like environments. Here, you'll learn how to stay calm, move smart, and save lives even when the environment itself is the challenge."

He gestured at the towering steel beams and scattered rubble.

"Your mission today: navigate these obstacles, locate injured civilians, administer first aid, and safely transport them to the designated safe zone. And for today's scenario… the 'civilian' you'll be rescuing will be-" he struck a pose, "ME!"

The class immediately broke into chatter. Some whispered about strategies, others just gossiped about random things as if the world's Number One Hero hadn't just volunteered to be their crash-test dummy.

Unbothered, All Might carried on. "We'll be observing your performance closely and giving feedback afterward. So give it your all and show us what you've got!"

His finger pointed to the first group: Sero, Ida, Midoriya, Ashido, and Tsutsumi.

The chosen students stepped forward as the rest of Class 1-A leaned in, eager to watch the first trial run of Field Gamma unfold.

As soon as the race began, the students bolted toward All Might's position.

Sero and Ashido looked thrilled, practically bouncing with energy. Midoriya charged his quirk through his body, his movements stiff but careful; he wasn't breaking his bones this time, though the power behind it was far weaker than usual. Ida, however, looked oddly distracted, his focus slipping.

Meanwhile, Tsutsumi… just looked bored.

Attack Ride: Teleport!

A flash of light swallowed him up, and in the blink of an eye, he reappeared right behind All Might. Without a word, he tapped the towering hero on the side.

"I'm leaving," Tsutsumi muttered casually.

All Might blinked in shock and spun around, only to see Tsutsumi already walking away. He had moved so quickly that no one had even registered him vanishing from the starting line.
