Chapter 1 - The spear of betrayal

The immortal realm trembled under a blood-red sky. Chaos qi surged like roaring seas, shaking ancient mountains, devouring stars and ripping open voids in the heavens. At Tha centre of this catalysm stood a lone man- tall, drapped in black robes that fluttered like shadows across space itself.

LONG WUYE: the chaos emperor

. He floated above the broken battleground of HEAVENLY ABYSS RIDGE, where hundred of saints had already fallen. Corpses of divine beasts and celestial laid like scattered ashes beneath him. His long jet-black hair, threaded with strands of silver, danced in the wind, and on his palm, a pulsing orb was beating with the rhythm of creation itself - The Heart Of Eternal Chaos.

No one dared to approach. Not even the immortal ancestors hidden behind dozens of protective formations in the skies above.

This was the peak of power itself. The moment when Long WUYE had seized the one tressure forbidden by all heavens which was older than Dao itself he was declared an enemy by all the powerhouses.

While he was still smiling five lights shot from the void behind. They were the Five Immortal Commanders of the Eastern sky who were his closest allies, his sworn brothers and sisters.

. Yan Zihan:the Ice Lotus Empress.

. Shang Wuji:the Radiant blade King.

. Lu Xuan :the formation emperor.

. Mu Changfeng:lord of Twin Halberds.

. Li Yao:his Dao Companion, with whom he had shared his life and soul.

WUYE turned, confusion in his eyes "why..."

But they didn't answer.

Yan Zihan's freezing lotus sealed his limbs.

Sheng wuji's blade pierced his ribs.

Mu changfeng's twin Halberds shredded his defences and Lu Yue drove a black jade spear through his heart.

The chaos heart tumbled from his grasp and was caught by Lu Xuan who sealed it in the golden formation. The heavens howled. Blood streamed down wuye's lips and the stars dimmed.

"why?" he asked again, voice low, not with rage but deep sorrow.
