"You know what Azena focus more on your studies than reading these books." Azena's mother said as she entered her daughter's room. Azena as usual was reading one of the classics. It's always books. She sighed and left. Her daughter was a blogger , author and the business woman. She is 18 yet doing a lot of things that does not include her studies yet remains topper at each exam.
Azena's mother, Mrs.Smith was always a proud mom who never showed her happiness. Unlike other girls Azena only fell for fictional men and the present time her fictional boyfriend Mr.Darcy.
"Hello Aunty" Diana said as she got into the house without any warning. She wasn't surprised. She was used to this. Diana is Azena's best friend. Childhood sweetheart and her sister, but not by blood. She is a secret hacker and it good at coding. Her subject is Nature and is planning to be a forest officer. Diana is similar to Azena and loves reading reading books but not classics.
Diana entered Azena's room. She saw Azena reading her favourite pride and prejudice. Diana coughed to get Azena's attention.Azena looked up from her book and saw Diana standing there.
"When did you come?" Azena asked
"Right now" Diana replied as she went and sat near Azena. She looked at the book and then said," You do realize its the nth time you are reading this book right."
"Well its not my fault its more interesting than any other thing I know of." Azena replied smiling.
"I do know you are reading this only because you are interested more on the complexities and tension between Mr.Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet. But I telling you that in every way I find Mr.Bingley's and Jane Bennet's love story much interesting than Mr.Darcy's and Elizabeth Bennet's cause it tells me that women from ancient era are so dumb that if a man hurts you knowingly or unknowingly the forgive if a man comes and proposes." Diana said.
Azena sighed. She did not know what to do with her bestie who acts like an anti-romantic person. She said," Well Jane was indeed getting over Mr.Bingley and would not have said yes but you do realize that it was all a misunderstanding between them. It's not like the modern era where talking to men or marriage is too normal. And them being together was bound to happen once the misunderstanding was solved."
The girls continued arguing on the topic. Suddenly the doors and windows closed and the room went dark. A light illuminated from the book. The words Pride and Prejudice were turning brighter and brighter that it flew into the air and circled them suddenly the girls disappeared along with the darkness. Everything was normal except for the fact that the room was empty.
