The Death Ring emanated a bone-chilling cold. Ludwell pondered for a moment, then took a step forward, gazing at the sea shrouded in thin mist, and pointed his hand towards the northwest:
"Alright, after entering this sea area, I already have a rather vague sensation. It's roughly in that direction!"
Before Klein could respond, Dunn Smith, hidden in the Underworld within Ludwell's body, instantly changed his expression, his voice suddenly urgent:
"No, this feeling is getting stronger and stronger! That guy is approaching us!"
Klein's expression froze slightly. He no longer bothered with the annoying mushrooms and walked into the ship's cabin, avoiding Frank, to find a relatively normal storage room. After setting up a Spirit Wall, he immediately took four reverse steps to arrive at Sefirah Castle.
Sitting back in the bronze high-backed chair, Klein didn't hesitate at all. He beckoned towards the pile of sundries, and a blood-stained eyeball, shrouded in grayish-white mist, flew out—it was the "Eye of Rusco."
Looking at this ancient god's eye, Klein had the illusion of directly gazing into a deep Abyss that devoured souls. He steadied his mind and allowed it to burrow into his flesh.
Layers of whispers echoed in his ears. Klein took a deep breath and summoned both the Sea God Scepter and the Blasphemy Card. After a moment of hesitation, he raised his hand towards the pile of sundries again.
A palm-sized mass, almost humanoid, filled with colorless liquid, looked like worm-like strands intertwined, with faint black glimmers reflecting within.
This was the true soul body left behind after a Spirit World Plunderer, who had sensed the anomaly of the "Abyss of Ferrying," was annihilated by the fully recovered Azik. It had previously been restrained within the pure white feather Azik had given him and was only sacrificed into Sefirah Castle after encountering Dan.
"What a pity, I'm still missing a Bizzaro Bane to complete the potion, but the true soul body of a Spirit World Plunderer is enough for a disguise...."
Klein nodded imperceptibly. The flesh on his palm split open, the deep light on the surface of the "Eye of Rusco" flickered, and the three items disappeared simultaneously.
He did not divine the subsequent actions, because that would definitely be interfered with by 0-08. Klein no longer lingered and immediately returned to reality.
After removing the Spirit Wall, Klein directly used Flame Jump to arrive beside Ludwell and fused a sub-soul of the Spirit World Plunderer's true soul body into the center of this puppet's forehead.
Ludwell's signature silver-white mask gradually blurred, and in the blink of an eye, his appearance changed, transforming into the cold and gloomy "Mad Adventurer" Gehrman Sparrow.
The false Spirit Body threads constructed by the Spirit World Plunderer's true soul body rapidly extended from within Ludwell's body, connecting all the puppets on the Black Tulip under Klein's control. Klein's own aura and appearance quickly transformed into those of the most ordinary low-Sequence puppet.
Just as he completed his disguise, the door to the captain's cabin was gently pushed open, and "Vice Admiral Iceberg" Edwina walked out, the indifference in her brows dissipated, replaced by a hint of satisfaction and anticipation.
In her hand, she held a golden-based hexagonal prism charm, with brassy glimmer quickly moving across its surface, outlining one mysterious symbol after another, like a flickering brass-colored eye.
Edwina's lips curled slightly, and with a hint of a smile, she looked at the puppet, which outwardly appeared to be the Mad Adventurer but actually contained a demigod within, and introduced:
"The high-level charm 'Eye of Cognition' you provided earlier can indeed succeed. Although it consumed many precious materials, if I'm not mistaken, with its help, it might be able to partially reproduce some of the authority of Sequence 3 'Cognizer' to a certain extent."
Klein, hidden in the corner acting as cannon fodder, narrowed his eyes slightly, scanning the high-level charm. A familiar dizzying sensation flashed by. He controlled Ludwell to relay the Captain's previous discovery but did not take the "Eye of Cognition" charm.
Such high-level charms, second only to the Angel level, require a ritual to be arranged and a prayer to a high-level existence of the same Pathway to truly unleash their power.
However, besides the old gentleman "Eye of Wisdom" in Backlund, Klein knew no other members of the Church of the God of Knowledge and Wisdom. Thus, he exchanged the ritual process for this charm with Edwina, including but not limited to direct assistance, free production of "Eye of Cognition" charms several times, and so on.
"There is only one charm. As a 'Mysticism Magister,' you can truly unleash its full capabilities, so it is for your use."
"If the situation is extremely perilous, you can also leave on your own. This was also our previous agreement."
Glancing at the calm-faced Edwina, Klein, controlling the puppet, added one last sentence, then said no more. Following the tremor transmitted by Dan via the Spirit Body threads, he looked at the scene in the distance.
-----------------
At the northern tip of Sonia Island, in a sea area near the deep-sea vortex, Aaron, who had received Astrolf's message, emerged from the void. His crimson-gold pupils reflected the ancient elven island shrouded in night in the distance.
Even now, with his Beyonder characteristic, he couldn't discern any problems, but the constant yearning transmitted from the Nation of Disorder was enough to explain everything: Trunsoest's Brass Book, which was essentially the Uniqueness of the "Justiciar" Pathway, was currently somewhere on this island.
Behind him, Will Auceptin, with a reluctant expression, floated in mid-air holding the "Die of Probability," muttering softly.
"Most of the Angels and Grade 0 Sealed Artifacts of Feynapotter and the Church of the God of Combat have already been restrained. Whether we can devour the bait before the hunters close the net rests on this one move!"
Feigning not hearing, Aaron withdrew his gaze and gave a warning, his figure gradually fading as he silently returned to the Nation of Disorder, suppressing the agitation of this Sefirah.
Considering that it would be difficult to conceal his aura in a battle of this level, and to prevent the explosive news of the current Duke of East Tucker's advancement to Angel from leaking, Aaron intended to participate in the battle in a different way.
After all, with the Sefirah between them, even if he directly faced the God of Combat, Aaron was not worried about his identity being discovered. Moreover, he could exert power close to the King of Angels level within the Nation of Disorder.
Leaning on the throne, Aaron summoned the Justiciar card and the Black Emperor card, activating the Sequence 1 "Hand of Order" characteristic within the Crown of Chaos. His body transformed into endless dark-gold mist, merging into the vast, near-real world outside the palace.
His spirituality was elevated layer by layer. Aaron unreservedly activated this Sefirah that had accompanied him for several epochs. The feeling of fusing with the Nation of Disorder during his advancement to Angel resurfaced, and the dark-gold points of light symbolizing the Angels above the palace dome expanded one by one.
In the real world, beside Will Auceptin, the divine light reappeared in the eyes of the historical projection summoned by a certain Sanguine Duke. Cavendish Lancer's consciousness directly descended from the Forsaken Land of the Gods. Without any hesitation, the "Miracle Invoker's" power of wish spread out abruptly.
