The blood moon hung high, and Caesar Port was still bustling at night, with ships continuously unloading cargo at the docks.
Sharron, cloaked in a black robe and wearing a dark iron-colored mask that obscured her face, stood in an alley not far from the Sea Shark Tavern at 67 East Wall Street in the port area. After observing silently for a few minutes, her figure flickered, and she arrived at the side door of the tavern.
Looking at the emotionless pupils beneath the dark iron mask, the doorman wisely shut his mouth and, as per the lady's request, led her to Sea Shark.
"Sea Shark" Galen Lynn narrowed his eyes. He sensed a dangerous aura from the person in front of him. Just as he was about to speak, he heard Sharron's deliberately hoarse voice: "A glass of Emerald Blood Wine."
"A newcomer?" Galen Lynn nodded slightly, and a person also dressed in a black robe behind him led Sharron to the basement.
Unlike the noise above, the atmosphere in the basement was quiet and oppressive. After passing through approximately two checkpoints and secret passages, Sharron arrived at a rather spacious room.
The candlelight was dim, and many people were already sparsely seated on the chairs in the room. Sharron looked at the almost identical black robes around her and chose a less crowded corner to sit down.
During this time, several more black-robed figures arrived. Everyone remained silent until "Sea Shark" Galen Lynn walked in and announced the start of the gathering.
A plump man sitting at the front, dressed in a black long robe in the style of a rural witch doctor, was the first to speak:
"This time, I've brought six bottles of precious potions. Three of them can effectively stop bleeding and promote wound healing. Believe me, this is definitely better than getting stitches at a clinic, and it's more discreet and convenient. They will remain effective for six months."
Noticing the gazes cast upon him, he suddenly let out a strange laugh and continued to describe:
"As for the other three bottles, although they only have an effective period of one and a half months, they can help gentlemen regain the impulsiveness of their seventeen or eighteen-year-old selves, turning them into Beyonders in bed."
"Heh heh, you know what I mean. Even if they exceed the effective period, they can still produce an effect, only it will expand from there to the whole body. The user will become extremely violent, with greatly increased strength, speed, and agility. Uh, they will fall into weakness after half an hour."
Ignoring the strange looks around him, he straightened his back and added:
"Hmm, I'm going to Loen later, so this time I only accept Loen gold pounds as payment. Each bottle of potion is 2 pounds, and no bargaining is accepted."
"Is this an Apothecary?" Sharron raised her head with interest, looking at the chubby man whose tone was somewhat annoying.
During this time, some people had already made bids, and the six bottles of mystic potions were instantly snatched up. For most wild Beyonders, these two potions were quite practical.
Even if the second potion sounded more bizarre, when used in combat, well, normal combat, it was equivalent to activating a berserk state, which might even turn the tide.
Sharron thought for a moment and spoke in a hoarse and cold voice:
"Do you have potions that treat mental derangement, bloodthirsty frenzy, and other issues?"
The plump Apothecary replied without hesitation: "Yes, tranquilizers. I brought 5 doses to this gathering, 15 soli each."
"Believe me, this is definitely much more effective than those at the hospital. I've added some spiritual materials, absolutely worth every penny."
Sharron was silent for a moment, secretly calculating how many Loen gold pounds she had left, then said: "I want 4 doses."
The plump Apothecary chuckled and took out four more doses, handing them to the attendant. As the attendant approached, Sharron also took out three 1-pound Loen gold pound notes and placed them on the tray, simultaneously taking the four doses. Feeling the spiritual fluctuations from the potions, she nodded slightly.
The subsequent transactions were a mix of successes and failures, but the items traded were limited to low Sequences. After obtaining what she wanted, Sharron remained silent, observing quietly.
About half an hour later, seeing the gathering fall silent, "Sea Shark" Galen Lynn, who had not spoken until then, suddenly said: "This gathering is over. The rumors are tight lately, everyone be careful. Everyone will leave one by one according to the guide."
The attendant led people away one by one from front to back. When it was Sharron's turn, the attendant stood still, and Galen Lynn personally rose, made an inviting gesture, and then walked ahead.
Sharron's eyes narrowed slightly, and her hand under the black robe gripped the "Wraith Dagger." Even if the negative effects were significant, it was a powerful escape tool in an emergency.
Following quietly behind Galen Lynn, walking along the corridor, Sharron suddenly spoke:
"Where are you taking me? This is not the way out." As she spoke, she was fully on guard, ready to act at any moment.
Galen Lynn did not turn around, completely unafraid, and replied very calmly: "An Glory wishes to see you. Please follow me."
Upon hearing this, Sharron's pupils contracted. Without further hesitation, she was about to activate the "Wraith Dagger" in her hand, but as she exerted force, the dagger shattered into a swirl of brilliant foam.
The surrounding environment changed with it. Clusters of starlight appeared out of thin air, and a lady's figure, wearing a lady's shirt with a lace floral collar, paired with a knee-length gray skirt and long leather boots, was surrounded by starlight. She wore a soft hat with a fine black mesh veil hanging down, obscuring her face. It was Bernadette.
Galen Lynn stood respectfully to the side. Bernadette's azure and profound eyes gazed at Sharron through the hanging fine black mesh veil, while she was toying with the "Wraith Dagger" in her hand.
Sharron felt as if she saw a pair of cold, pupil-less eyes, and a sense of powerlessness immediately rose in her heart. The mark on her palm flickered slightly but seemed to be blocked by some barrier, bringing no change.
Just as Sharron decided to stake everything, Bernadette glanced at the mark on Sharron's palm, and a very textured voice sounded:
"You must be Sharron, right? The disciple of the Temperance Faction leader?" What was a question was filled with a tone of certainty.
"You can call me Queen Mystic. I think you should know that name, right?"
"Queen Mystic? The leader of Oravi Island?" Sharron felt a slight relief internally, then confusion surfaced in her mind. "Since it's not the Rose School of Thought, why is she looking for me?"
Noticing the confusion in Sharron's eyes, Bernadette chuckled and tossed the "Wraith Dagger" to Sharron.
"The guidance of destiny has brought us together." As she spoke, an indescribable pressure erupted from this Pirate King who dominated the Five Seas, striking directly at one's soul, making it impossible to resist.
Bernadette's azure and profound eyes stared intently at Sharron, saying each word distinctly: "Have you heard of the Lord of Order?"
"Lord of Order? That hidden existence pointed to by the honorific name?" An astonished expression appeared on Sharron's delicate face, her thoughts racing, and she even forgot to reply.
Bernadette looked at the expression on Sharron's face and felt a slight relief in her heart. She had finally found a clue to that hidden existence, and her stay in Caesar Port for several days, following the prophecy's revelation, had not been in vain.
What surprised her was that it had even established a connection with the Rose School of Thought.
